Attention: Guitarists Who Are Serious About Quickly Making Massive Improvements…

"When It Comes To Playing Guitar
Knowledge Is Power...

Here’s How To Get A LOT Of It."

From: Dan Denley
Memphis, TN

Dear Guitarist,

A few years ago, I set out to create some of the top guitar-learning programs available on the planet. And I did. Now, over 10,000 guitarists have trasformed their playing using my guitar courses for beginners, blues, lead and acoustic.

But lately there’s been an explosion of “how to play guitar” tricks and gimmicks that have popped up all over the internet. They come in different shapes and sizes, but they all deliver the same empty promises…

“You can play anything in only 30 days!” or “If you learn this trick, you’ll instantly solo like a guitar-god.”
Blah, blah, blah.

Listen, with today’s technology it’s super-easy for any idiot who’s ever strummed a guitar to throw up a website in 24 hours and be a self-proclaimed “expert.”

      Sad, but true.

The ironic thing is, (and I’m ashamed to admit this) I’ve actually used some of that marketing before. But the reason I could lay down and sleep at night is because I actually believed I could deliver on the promises I made. And my track record speaks for itself.

You see, I don’t have “customers.” I have raving fans.

I now have six major guitar courses (multi-DVD) that range from beginner to advanced. And I’ve noticed that a large majority of my students have purchased everything I have.

Now you have to ask yourself the question, “Why, would anyone do that?”

      The answer is simple…

"The Stuff I Teach Actually Works."

That’s it. It actually helps people get better at guitar.

I don’t really know how to say this without sounding like a jerk. But here goes…

I’ve got the knowledge and lots of other self-proclaimed “gurus” don’t. Plain and simple. But, I don’t say that to brag or boast. I just want you to understand the facts.

I’ve trained. And I’ve got the degree to back up everything I teach.

       Let me explain…

I didn’t start out as a guitarist. I started with piano (age 5). My mom kicked my butt and dragged me to piano lessons for the next 10 years. (Thanks, mom). I learned Bach, Beethoven, Mozart. All the classical stuff.

And piano laid the groundwork for my understanding of guitar. Then I went to college, majored in music and graduated magna cum laude. (Here’s my college transcript if you’d like to see all the courses I took and my GPA).

Here’s the point: Unlike many guitar-gurus who pimp-out their method as a magic pill that’ll transform you into a “guitar-god” overnight … I’ve got the training to explain the theory behind everything I teach.

Fact: Just because someone can play guitar does not mean they can actually teach. There’s a big difference. I’ve known some great players who were crap teachers.

       Here’s the bottom line…

There Are Tons Of Guitar “Experts” Out There
Who Have No Business Teaching You Anything.

In Fact, A Lot Of It Is Complete Garbage.

Not all of it, of course. In fact, my bookshelves are full of quality resources that I personally use when I want to brush-up on my skills. But, I have the training to know when something is quality and when it’s junk.

Here’s why this course is completely different than 99% of others…

The Roman Numeral System

Here’s how it works: Chords don’t appear out of thin air. They come from scales. And scales determine which key a song is in.

Each note of a scale can be broken down into scale degrees, which determine the root-note of each chord. When you harmonize a scale from each root note, it produces seven different chords called triads (chord with 3 notes).

In the major scale, triads can be major, minor or diminished depending on which scale degree they are built on. If you harmonize the scale using 4-note chords you get 7th chords which can be major, minor, dominant or half-diminished.

The Roman numeral system is used to identify how a chord is functioning in a song. Some chords sound good together. Others don’t.

And there are “laws” that determine which chords from a scale will go well together. When several chords from any scale are played one after another, it’s called a chord progression.

A classic example is the IIm-V7 chord progression (pronounced, “two, five-seven”). This progression can be played in any key.

       For example, in C major, a IIm-V7 would be Dm-G7. In D major, it’s be Em-A7. In E major, F#m-B7. And so-on.

You can also take this same progression and play it in any minor key too.

Example, in G minor, a two-five progression is Adim-Dm7. Note: the chords’ quality changed because in a minor key the two-chord is diminished and the five-chord is minor. But it’s still a two-five progression.

This is a really powerful concept because...

"Once You Understand Which Chords
Sound Good Together And Why

…The Sky Is The Limit."

So, what does all this music-theory babble have to do with you?

Plenty, if you’re ready for a noticeable improvement in your guitar skills.

Listen carefully: This course is heavy on theory. Lots of it.

Why? Because theory is what separates the men from the boys. It’s the language of music. It’s how we musicians talk to each other. If you don’t speak the language, you can’t play the game. It’s that simple.

I don’t say that to scare you off. In fact, it’s not difficult at all… if you have someone who can explain it to you clearly. The problem is most guitarists can’t explain it because they don’t truly understand it.

But, I’m going to explain every itty-bitty detail, step-by-step. So, don’t worry. Everything you need to know is included in the course. I just want you to be understand where I’m coming from.

       Ok? Good.

Here’s What You’ll Discover In
The Ultimate Guide To Chords

  • Discover the real “secret” to writing your own songs… knowing which chords sound good together and why!
  • Ever seen one of those huge, reference books (or websites) with 1500 chords? Now you’ll actually know how to pick out chords and use them in songs.
  • How to quickly and easily transpose any chord progression into any key. This simple concept will allow you to instantly move any set of chords to any place on the fretboard.
  • How to harmonize the major and natural minor scale using triadic (3-note chords) and 7th chord harmony (4-note chords). This sets the foundation for your understanding of where chords come from and how to apply them in your playing.
  • Build up a massive arsenal of chords! You’re going to learn so many new chords, and more importantly… how to actually use them in songs! Here’s a short list of chord you’ll be able to play when you complete this course:

    • Major/minor open-position chords
    • Barre chords with 6th string root (E form) and 5th string root (A form)
    • 7th chords of every kind: major, minor, dominant, half-diminished, fully-diminished
    • Extended chords: 9ths, 11ths and 13ths
    • Sixth chords: major or minor chords with an added 6th
    • Suspended chords: like Asus2, Esus4
    • Add chords: like Cadd9, Dadd4
    • Altered dominant chords: when the 5th or 9th of a dominant chord is raised or lowered a half-step. Example, E7#5.
    • Slash chords: like G/D are normally used to indicate a specific voicing of a chord. For example, G/D would mean that you’d play a G chord with D in the bass.
  • Must-know strumming patterns for acoustic and electric. Easily learn new songs after you’ve mastered basic strumming patterns that are found in 95% of music.
  • Movable scale patterns of the major scale (6th and 5th string root) in one and two octaves. A must-know skill which helps you understand which scale can be applied to chords.
  • Scale degrees: learn to identify each note of the major and minor scales
  • Finally understand chord jargon like dominant, diminished, etc.
  • Learn which chords are produced from the harmonized major and minor scales and why
  • 308 musical examples with tab and fretboard diagrams that follow the DVDs from start to finish
  • 103 common chord progressions in various styles so you can play nearly any
  • Build your repertoire by learning various styles for electric and acoustic: blues, rock, pop, jazz, folk, country, soul, funk…
  • How to use direct substitution (sometimes called, “chord embellishment”) to spice-up any progression.
Example, you can substitute a C major 7th chord for C major, D7 for D (in the key of G), F#m7 for F#m, etc. Note: if this is the only thing you learn in this entire course, it would probably still be worth your investment. It really is that important because once you “get it” you can immediately apply it.
  • String-scratching: the secret to creating funky rhythmic patterns
  • Syncopation: how to transform any boring rhythm into a funky jive
  • The Roman numeral system: how to quickly analyze songs so you can learn new music fast.
  • Blues and Jazz song forms: multiple variations of the 12-bar blues
  • Learn all the major and relative minor key signatures. A crucial skill that 99% of guitarists completely ignore. Memorize these and you’ll be able to easily know which notes any chord contains… without a fretboard diagram or tab!

And that’s just a small sample of what you’ll find. And I realize that some people learn by reading, some listening, some by watching. So, I’ve covered all the bases.

“Yes, You Can Do This!”

Listen, I don’t care if you’ve tried other learn-guitar stuff and failed. Or if you’re just starting out. Or if you’re a road-hardened veteran. Or if you can only play five different chords.

       None of that matters.

The only thing that matters… is your desire to get on the bus. To start playing killer chord progressions, in any key, any place on the fretboard, writing your own songs, learning new music quicker and easier, and making huge improvements, fast and furious.

This ain’t brain surgery. But you can’t “figure it out” on your own.

It’s not something you can just read in a book and understand. You really need someone to teach you how it works so you can actually apply it. (Because playing is what it’s all about, right?)

I’ve already spent over $60,000 (and counting) on my musical education, including a bachelor’s in music, plus thousands of hours of practicing and performing on-stage and off.

So, there is absolutely no sane reason why you should want to waste years of your own life attempting to cover the same ground. Especially, since I’ve laid it all out for you in one, easy-to-follow guide.

"This Is The Course I Would Have Killed For
When I Was Starting Out.
"

8dvd

With 8 DVDS (9 hours of video) you’re gonna be busy. The eight DVDs are at the burning core of this entire plan. We shot everything with two cameras: a full-front view and a close-up on my fretting hand.

Each DVD is replicated. A high-quality process that virtually guarantees each DVD will play on your DVD player or computer. (Most guys use a cheaper process called “duplication”).

8dvd      The 179 pg. book gives you all the tab and chord diagrams you need so you’ll never be left wondering, “How’d he that?” You’ll know exactly where to place your hands on the fretboard, which strings to fret and how to play the rhythm in your strumming hand.

And I’ve given you the fretboard diagram for every chord so you’ll know exactly where to place your fingers. Here’s an example…ugc example

The DVDs and book alone are easily worth your entire investment. But you’re going to get a lot more…

8dvd
You’ll also receive two CDs with 43 full-band, jam-tracks. This is where it gets really fun! After you’ve got the basics of how it all works, you can pop in these CDs and jam with a full-band (drums, bass and guitar).

And each track is mixed so you can use your balance setting and completely cut-out the guitar. That way you can jam with or without the guitar track!

And this is high-quality stuff recorded in a professional studio with real musicians, and live instruments. (Unlike “jam tracks” that wannabes put out which are computer-generated crap that any 14-year-old kid can create in his basement on his mom’s computer).

You also get 2 CD-ROMs with two additional hours of jam-packed learning.

8dvd      There are some things that simply can’t be explained using “live” video (camera recording a person talking). That’s why I’ve created two CD-ROMs that use screen-capture software to record everything on my computer screen.

I open up my notation program (Finale Allegro) and show you exactly how chords are created from scales, how the Roman numeral system works, the difference between triads and 7th chords and a whole lot more… You’ll be able to see and hear me explain every little detail.

The videos could easily be sold as a stand-alone product by themselves. In fact, they probably will be sometime down the road (but right now they’re included).

They’ll play on a PC or MAC and don’t require you to download any special software (except Flash, which is free and already installed on 99% of computers anyway – if not, you can download and install with two, mouse-clicks).
“What If I Get Stuck And Have Questions?”

No Problem!

We’ve set up an online, community forum just for owners like you. You’ll be able to ask questions and get help from other guitarists who invested in this course (so you know they’re serious). It is absolutely free for as long as you own the course.

But there’s more to this package…

My “You Either Succeed Or You Don’t Pay!”
Money-Back Guarantee:

I hate doing business with people who don’t guarantee their work. Or, require a receipt for a refund. Or, have super-short return policies like 14 days, or whatever. That’s why I don’t require any of that crap.

            Here’s how it works…

You Get Three Full Months (90 Days)
To Decide If You Want To Keep It Or Return It.

And if for any reason you decide that it’s not for you, simply return it for a fast, friendly refund (less shipping). No questions asked. No receipt required.

Fair enough? Good. So, you’re probably thinking…

“How Much Is All This Going To Cost Me?”

      Let me explain:

Private lessons with a good teacher will cost you a pretty penny: about $60/hour. If you take a 60 min lesson 4x/month for 10 months out of the year… that’s $2400!

If you want to take year-round, it’ll set you back nearly $3,000. And with the price of gas, driving back and forth the lessons… I guarantee you’ll spend 3G’s a year.

I don’t teach private lessons anymore. But if I did I wouldn’t charge less than $150 an hour. So, you’d need to pony-up $6,000. Expensive, yes. (And that’s part of the reason I don’t do it... most folks simply can’t afford it).

And considering there’s at least a year’s worth of life-changing lessons in this course, I’d be downright irresponsible to let it go for less than $300. After all, it is 12-disks… even if I charged $20 per disk and $20 for the book, that would still be $260.

But I realize that even at that price, many folks still couldn’t afford it. That’s why I’ve decided to let the whole thing go for about the cost of one, big trip to the grocery store: Just $199 for the Platinum edition or $179 for Gold edition.

And let me say it again, just in case you dozed off…

“I Absolutely Guarantee Your Success.”

Here’s the deal: If you watch the DVDs, practice the examples (even if it’s only an hour a week), jam along with the CDs, and apply the concepts you’ll learn in the CD-ROMs… and you still don’t see a huge, measurable improvement in your playing and knowledge…

Then I actually want you to send the course back and get a refund.

Because if my system doesn’t work for you, for whatever reason, then it’s far better for you to return it and us part as friends, than for you to keep it and be unhappy… and tell other folks that my stuff “doesn’t work.” Makes sense, right?

Bottom line? You simply cannot lose.

P.S. If you want to improve, you can’t keep doing the same old stuff over-and-over. And I can’t think of a better way for you to have the motivation to learn new skills than a home-study course that you can complete at your own pace, when it’s convenient for you. And the better you are, the more fun it is to play! And because I’m assuming all the risk, you have no good reason not to give this a try. Quit making excuses and start getting better, today.
