Friday, July 3rd, 2009

This lesson is from DVD 8 of Blues Guitar Secrets 2.0. After being off the market for six months, the course will be available again on Thursday, July 16, 2009. And I’ve decided to bring back the introductory price (same as Dec 2008) for the first week. But on July 24, I’m raising the price. I just want to give you major “heads-up” that the price will be going up, so if you need to get in early.

After all, this is a HUGE, 10-disk course. 100% dedicated to teaching you the blues. And frankly, some of my customers have emailed me saying that it’s too cheap. :-)

Anyway, here’s today blues guitar lesson…

NOTE: At the end of the video it says to download the tab and jam tracks go to JustBluesGuitar.com. But you do NOT need to that! I’ve given them to you right here…

We’ve been flooded with emails and calls lately because people are worried that the course is going to  sell out again like it did when it was first released to the public. We had to close the web site and stock taking orders for six months!

The #1 concern is that some people can’t be in front of their computer early on Thursday morning. They’re worried that they won’t be one of the first to order and they won’t get the fast mover bonuses. We’ll everything is on a first-come, first-served basis. But I think if you’re able get the link early enough, you should be fine. :-)

Remember — the special discount link will be emailed to you early on Thursday morning! So keep an eye out for it!

Cheers!

P.S. The letters, “P, I, M, A” represent your fingers on your picking hand. P = thumb, I = index, M = middle, and A = ring finger. That’s the way fingerstyle is notated.

Big annoucement & 12-bar blues video…

Thursday, November 20th, 2008

Hey what’s up? I got a big announcement and a cool new blues video for you.

Check it out…

New blues video… How To Play A Simple, 12-Bar Blues (Using Dominant 9ths)

Here’s what I’m playing the video. Note: the //// marks are called “slash notation.” (And no, it doesn’t have anything to do with “Slash” the guitarist). It simply means you can play any rhythm you want as long as you stay within time signature. (In this case, it 4/4 time. Also called, “common time”).

I also briefly mention (and play this chord)…

Cheers!

Guitar Theory Lesson

Thursday, April 5th, 2007

As you know, I launched Blues Guitar Secrets Dec 12, 2006. And when I finished the course, I asked for feedback from my customers… 95.3% said they’d “recommend the course to friend.” That rocks! But I did get a lot of questions about various aspects of blues guitar theory.

So, I’m working on a new project that’s going to answer tons of those guitar questions. I should have it ready in a couple of weeks. Here’s a sneak-peak of what’s coming. (This is one of the actual videos from the new “project”).

If you’re a Blues Guitar Secrets owner, make sure you have your course-books in front of you. If you’re not a BGS owner, you’ll still be able to learn a lot just by watching the video!
