I need to work on that. An excellent lesson. I should have looked you up in Memphis Dan. I was there last week at the Blues Music Awards. Also made the Beale St. scene at Silky O’Sullivans and saw Barbra Blue. I saw a lot of “that lesson” and several variations.
Keep em coming.

i love the way you play, i’m just a beginner and don’t know the key, so far i learn by watching other people move their fingers so if you go slow i can catch on thank you

Nice. Like the bending the G to G# because G is a b3 for the E blues scale, and G# is maj 3rd. That switch between minor and major 3rd is part of what makes the blues, eh?
I also noted at the 11th bar you are going E7, Eb7 D7 and back to Emaj. Then 12th bar is B7. Those 2 bars are the “turn around” to get you back to square 1 right?

Great video as always Dan. Now that I’m recovering from foot surgery for the next few weeks, I have time to dig into the two courses I got from you in detail - Amazing Guitar Secrets and Lead Guitar - Thanks for all you are doing using your talent to help others.

First heard this shuffle back in the late fifties in West Germany. Remember? keep up the good work as the Delta’s are cool laid back stuff, just sittng around the cabin in the deep South.

Great lesson, for a great sound! Currenly feeling a littel overwhelmed by all the study materials I have before me, but I’ve filed away this tab and will have to place it up near the top of my list for practice.

Dan,
Thanks for another great video; I hope that soon I will become a customer. I am in the process of re-establishing myself in the U.S. and as such, am looking for employment. You are never far from my thoughts and guitar was meant to be in my life I’m sure.
Thanks again. Peace.

I really like Delta Blues but have found it somewhat difficult to play since I am new to guitar. You simplify this particular piece for me to be able to put it together. The way you play it, it has a nice groove to it. Thanks.
