I found this cool thingy that allows us all to get together at the same time and chat. I’d be live with video and we can all read and answer each others questions.
If you’d be interested, let me know by posting here on the blog.
Thanks!

Dan, really good stuff. As to needing to purchase more or a new and revised edition…heck, there’s ALWAYS more to learn, and ALWAYS a reason to upgrade. I’ve got another program (Band in A Box) and a genealogy program called Family Tree Maker. EVERY year there’s an upgrade with new material, so why shouldn’t a Dan Denley course come along with improvements? Frankly Dan, I’m glad you came out with a new version with so many improvements, and refinements. If we never saw a logical improvement in a product, we’d all still be driving Hudsons and Studebakers. Good going Dan. I’ve got it marked on my calendar!

Hey Dan,
Awesome presentation, as always. The production quality may be better, but it is definitely your presentation style that keeps me coming back. I have some of your other courses also, but I do appreciate the value in improving my skills with what you have to teach. It’s the quality of instruction that brings me back, not the price.
BTW…something seemed different about you so I compared the new video with some much older videos…it looks like you lost weight!

Hi Dan,
I see no problem with your putting out a basic Blues course and a more comprehensive course (2.0) for those who wish more in depth information. Maybe there will eventually be even more upgrades to this course and to your other courses as you learn more and have more to teach your students. I agree with everything Bill Otten says above.
Best,
Steve Goscin

Dan,
Your courses are excellent and you are good teacher. I have purchased Blues Guitar Secrets No.1 and would really appreciate it if you would do some sort of deal for those who have already purchased that course and wish to purchase No.2. I am a retired Supreme Court Judge and have come back to the electric guitar after 40 years. I am a child of the sixties. I was there and remember it well. The music and the feeling of that decade was great. Your courses have enabled me to get back into something that I loved, i.e. rock/blues/country music. Parents,Finishing a Law degree, practising Law at the Bar, marriage, children, and then appointment to the Supreme Court all got in the way. Now with a bunch of other retired 60’s baby-boomers we do a reasonable job with the music and we are getting better. Thanks for everything Dan and for your committment to making music come alive for so many. Keep up the good work and enjoy the coming festive season.
David.

Hey Dan,
I noticed one of your customers was upset that another cource was forthcoming for more advanced blues lessons. WUH…LOL..lets see you studied and got a degree in music, would have been nice to get your degree with one cource for under $200 bucks huh?
I didnt get much from the first cource myself, I have played in bands for 12 years, rythym guitar, my lead abilities suck badly. I want to play lead, blues especially, but I want a cource that offers an easy way to understand the blues scales, major and minor, and then how to apply that knoledge right away.
Most of the lesson plans I see end up either showing you some licks or runs and no explanation of why you use them, or the lessons keep on treating you like you dont know how to make a bar chord or 7th or 9th…etc. and you spend your money looking at the same ole thing youve seen a hundred times. And you still cant play a blues lead.
Maybe this new cource will be a big improvement and actually teach us how to play some lead for the blues…
Love your vids and you seem to be a dedicated guy, hope this blues cource is the real deal Dan…Ken

As the others have asked, where is the tab???
I have enjoyed the products I have purchased to date!!!
December 3rd, 2008 at 3:38 pm
Hi there Dan;
As Tom above says where’s the tab????
Great video Dan! You know how to keep us interested. It be nice to work out some deal to cover future upgrades to your courses. I have your AGS course and have learned a great deal from it. Wanted to wait until I finish the course to get Blues guitar secrets but have realized all the information included in the course will serve as future reference and I will continue to go back to it to refresh what I have learned. In my own personal case then, it would be wise to invest on the new Blues Guitar Secrets 2.0 now. Jot my name down on your list.

I like the way you solo and all, but from the year of theory I took and the few years of guitar, and various other, lessons I’ve had, these lessons aren’t quite useful for me.
Could you go more in depth with resolutions and whatnot? (Seeing as how solos aren’t about notes, but about rhythms and resolutions.)

Dan excellent blues performance,

I dig the BB King-esque style, but how ’bout some lightning blues?
December 11th, 2008 at 1:17 pm
Dan, You are one of the best instructors out there. This is why i think you can put out a killer jazz DVD/book for all us hope to be jazzbo’s out here. I have piles of books and online memberships but from what i have seen i think you can probably put it all togeather.
Dave
PS Can i please be put back on your e-mail or newsletter list? I was probably taken off ’cause i haven’t purchaced any thing in a while.I am an intermediate player and need more advanced stuff. The blues 2.0 looks like another quality product. Your an awsome musician/instructor.
