Dan, it sounds great, but a little too deep for me, or my purpose, I just want to be able to pick up my Gibson(by-product)and enjoy myself.Have a good day, and good health to you and yours–BG.

Hi: Dan I purchased one of your earlier blues secrets couses and would like to know if there is a up grade price I hope so and why would you put on the internet that your earlier cours wasn’t too well done ,that make us feel like we were taken or been had for standing by you as your grow in this business.whats up.
Thanks AL
Hey Al, thanks for you order man. Really appreciate that. Good question. Actually I was a little worried about that too. But, hey, I’m just trying to take an honest look at all my products. And sometimes that means admitting where things could be better. And frankly we had some production issues with the 1st course. Most folks couldn’t care less because it’s the teaching that they were paying for, not the quality of the video/audio. That course has sold thousands (and counting). But I just felt it’s not as good as I could make it. Dan

Dan, I really appreciate the amount of time and effort you put into these videos. I have not as yet purchased your course but you can bet I’ll be getting the blues secrets course when it comes out on the 12th! I am enjoying the little bits and pieces but I really need some structured training. I love the blues and I love playing guitar. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge like this and happy holidays to you and your family.

Even though I couldn’t see the video, I feel that your tabs were right on the money. I took out my Washburn BT-4 (with hopped up pickups for a bluesier sound) played along with you. We sounded great! Using Gm7,Cm7, Dm7 and Dbm7 seems to have a Jazz sound to it. I like it. I still use The Amazing Guitar Secrets that I bought several years ago, plus your emails you send are great. You are putting out some good stuff. I can’t buy everything, but you can put things simple, plain, and easy to follow. Thanks Great Job Dan!!!! Steve
Steve - thanks for the kind words. It’s folks like you that keep the fires burning. Cheers! Dan

Dan,
Sounds like another winner. How about a great discount for loyal purchasers of your previous courses?! We should be able to upgrade at a reasonable price, not one that just continues to take our money. (is that mr. bailey laughing in the background?)
thanks,
Mike

I can’t wait for the Blues course. I’ve bought all of your courses over the last year and think they are all fantastic. My playing has really improved. I agree that the first Blues course could have been better. It was still great… just not comprehensive enough. I do have a BIG CONCERN. I suspect there will be a big overlap between the blues courses, e.g. the blues progression in the sample video was covered in the original course. So PLEASE, PLEASE give a special offer to your MOST LOYAL CUSTOMERS. I think your video courses are amazing but I don’t want to have to pay for duplicate material. Keep up the amazing work, Dan. Best wishes Mark.
Hi Mark. As you can see there are a lot of my customers who have this same concern. And I’ll be up-front… there is overlap because a 12-bar blues is a 12-bar blues. But what I was really trying to do here is to go deeper into blues. And add lead and acoustic as well. We’ll definitely work something out for loyal customers like you. Thanks! Dan

Thank you for updating the video. I never know if its my computor or what when there are glitches. Wish to let you know that all the tips and lead in videos sure help. Not able to always put them to immediate practice but plants the seed to move forward. Would like to be included if you make available any type of upgrade package for past purchasers.

I’m pretty much a Blues nut. I purchased your Guitar Secrets some time ago and others. I really don’t need all that your course has, however I would like a couple of the CD’s from the course, is that possible?????

Hi Dan
Great lesson! Thanks for doing these wonderful video’s for idiots like me!!!! You make learning these cords so easy. I can’t order you’re videos right now, but when I have the money, sure will. Keep right on doing what you’re doing.

Hi Dan, just to let you know I really like your no nonsense approach to guitar playing. Some people (including a few teachers I have had) say: ‘We have an easy problem, how can we make this as complicated as possible?’ You say: ‘We have a complicated problem, how can we make this as simple as possible?’ And you actually make it look easy. Love it.

Hey! I like it. I will try it out as soon as I can. I just had open heart sergery and cant do much right now. Thanks. Your OK in my book.

Hey dan i love how that sounds,I have a very hard time making my fingers do what i want them to do,and i practice about 2-3 hours a day. what am i missing? I want to buy the course but also want to be able to train my fingers to make a good sound. I’m open to any ideas, especially for barred chords.

Hi Dan;
Very good video. You know, my interest in learning how to play the guitar comes from childhood. Pop music from the late sixties, beatles, the cream, etc. When I first listened to a jazz guitarist I fell in love with the style. When I first listened to a blues guitarist I said to myself this is it man, got to learn how to produce those sounds myself. It has taken many, many years to realize I actually was able to learn to play this incredible sounds. I saw one of your videos on shuffle blues before ordering your AGS course, went at it and actually was playing it. So, to me this is it; my ticket to blues. Jazz? well, I heard you have got to learn the blues before doing (playing) jazz. So, let’s do the blues!!
As for the Q&A session, I think is a great idea. Due to my work schedule I may miss it but really think it is a very good idea.
Thanks Dan

Hi Dan!
I like the video. And I like how the videos are getting bigger and easier to see.
You mentioned in the video that you only wrote 4 bar downstrokes in the tab because you can play “any rhythm you want”. I have horrible right hand technique and would appreciate having some options for the right hand to try out as well as the chords.
Thanks! Cathy

Dan,
Nice work and good answers (good two-way communication).
Thanks,

Hi Dan
I just received your big enchillada and am absolutely delighted with it. well done, I have learned so much stuff at the basic level that I thought I knew. Its down to the structured way you teach. I have a great guitar teacher but your course is really filling in the missing bits. I can really recommend it to anybody. no matter how much they already know. I too would buy the the new blues course but Id’ love it if you could see a way of some discount as I only just got the present blues course.

Dan
Really looking forward to get my hands on this new blues course. I use the other courses regularly for myself and keep on repeating stuff, never getting bored. Now even my 10 year old nephew is starting to play and comes in asking for the dvd. So you’ve not only reached old geezers like me, but even the young ones!
Thanks for your contribution to the music culture in the Netherlands

Received all 3 courses (Amazing Guitar Secrets, Acoustic Guitar Secrets and Blues Guitar Secrets)one day and your email about the new blues 2.0 course the next day. Timing huh?? lol. Hope something can be worked out on upgrading since blues is my main interests. Thanks for the work and style of your instruction. It’s truly unique and very appreciated. Namaste and Stay in The Light.

Thanks for sharing! Almost missed the link to the TABs. Didn’t see it the first time around, so started to with the ol’ pen and paper : ) I’ve got my sights on this course, but still have a lot to handle with the Amazing Guitar Secrets I purchased about 3 weeks ago. I’m still not feeling as comfortable as I should with the theory for practical chord construction as it applies to the fretboard… but I’m gunna : )

Hi Dan,
Thank you for your video lessons on the Blues 12 bar. It’s just another addition to the overall effect. I have really enjoyed your courses and this is why:- you give encouragement where there is puzzlement - or even despair - and you make things quite clear for me to follow. I also find that you make it good fun to learn guitar. Best wishes to you and yours. Thanks again,
Brian Clarkson

Dan,
I have purchased two of your courses, Acoustic Guitar Secrets and Blues Guitar Secrets. The Acoustic Guitar Secrets course was done very well and really helped move me to higher levels of playing on my acoustic guitar. I am still working my way through the course and I continue to enjoy the training that I am getting. On the other hand, I was and have continued to be extremely disappointed with the Blues Guitar Secrets course. There really is not much substance in the entire course. I purchased the course hoping to really learn more about playing blues than just basic 12-bar blues progressions. I would like to think that you will achieve much more than this in your new blues course. As mentioned on many other comments, people who have purchased your courses in the past should receive a substantial discount on the new course if it has more substance than the previous blues course. It seems many people have the same concerns. Why not offer the course to people who have previously purchase your blues course as basically a free upgrade? I will trust you to be fair to the people who previously purschase the original Blues Guitar Secrets course. Thanks!
