I figured if you’re like me, you may need something to do today besides watch 10 hours of news coverage of the election.
So, here’s a few video that will hopefully give you some ideas when you pick up your guitar today.
Enjoy!
BTW, there are still a few slots available for the initial 200 members of the online version of Amazing Guitar Secrets. The new site is up and running and we’ve only had a few hick-ups to fix.
Remember, if you one of the 1st 200 to register, you’ll be a charter member. Which means you’re guaranteed to get the introductory price.

Hello Dan,
I was wondering if you could comment on the tone of the amp as well. What were the settings on the guitar? and also I noticed you have a string lock, can you comment on that and is it expensive to install?
Dan, I’m 69 years old, I teach art in an elementary school, and I play music with my buddies from my fraternity from Junior college(class of 1969,but later graduated from the University of Georgia). We keep up with songs on the internet and get together every Memorial Day weekend on Lake Lanier, just north of Atlanta, Georgia. The keyboard player lives right on the lake with his own dock and boat ramp. Bass player lives near Boone, North Carolina. I live in West Point, Georgia. We come together that weekend for a long weekend of music….kind of like our own little Woodstock. We play the last weekend of August for Homecoming of Young Harris College. That’s usually at Lake Nottely near Blueridge, Ga. I say all that to give you a little background on my situation. I don’t have a lot of money to spend on things I would like to spend on (got one son at Auburn University and a daughter just out of college). I do enjoy your emails though. I enjoy them more than you’ll ever know. I’m not a particular political person and I agree with you on the political stuff. I guess I do get more conservative the older I get. I’m Catholic so I can’t really side with people who are in favor of abortion. Your site is one way I help to keep my sanity….in as much as an elementary teacher can be sane. I love the guitar and music and the personal touch you put into your work. Keep up the good work.

I’ve got a correction to make. I got in this afternoon and immediately went to the email. I saw where I put down I was 69 when actually I’m 59……just feel like 69 sometimes. The music site helps me feel younger though.

Dan I will always remember you for the great kindness of allowing me access the pentatonic scale booklet. You are such an inspiration. If you are religious and would not mind me saying this, you truly are a blessing. Thanks big times
You picked the really annoying 5 habits. I wish they would stop doing that, and they would get more traffic and link love in return from thankful bloggers.

oops.
I think my web guy goofed.
#6 should say, “Hammer-ons/Pull offs” instead of tapping (that’s actually a different video).
Oh well. I think you probably already figured that out.
Hey - we ain’t perfect! (not even close). He he he.
Later,
Dan
