Martin Acoustic Contest
Can I give you a Martin acoustic that retails for $1399.00?
Yup. I’m giving away a Martin D16GT as part of the celebration of the Acoustic Guitar Secrets release. This an amazing instrument. I hand selected it after playing dozens of acoustics. It’s the guitar I played during the shooting of the video and it’s what I used to record the 2 CD that come with the course.
Here’s the techical data from Martin’s website. And here are 80 reviews from D16GT owners that you can read here on the Musician’s Friend web site. Here’s what it looks like…
How To Enter The Contest:
It’s simple. Post your comment below and describe why you are excited about Acoustic Guitar Secrets and how you believe that you will benefit from the course. That’s it.
My staff read each entry and pick out the top three. Then you will vote on the winner. Whoever get’s the most votes, wins the guitar. The deadline for the last entry is midnight, Friday, Dec. 14.
Cheers!
Dan Denley
P.S. Here are some winners from past contests: Tina, Mark Lee and Ben Blomberg

I am excited about the Acoustic Guitar Secrets because it will help me become a better guitarist so I can also be a better teacher to the people of Rwanda, East Central Africa, where I serve as a missionary teacher. I hope to learn and examine different techniques to enhance the musical knowledge of the Rwandans. Music has been key to understanding the cultural dynamics and creating sustainable peace in this country.

The Martin guitar would be a great asset to teaching music to the Rwandans.

I’ve enjoyed playing my guitar for several years and I’ve learned a great deal from sites such as this one and from the lessons that players, such as yourself, have taught me. I’m always on the look out for quality instructional video that will help me further my skills.
I’m very particular about what I’ll spend my money on and after reviewing your product and watching several of the sample videos I believe it is something I would benefit from.
I’m an intermediate player so I’m familiar with the Pentatonics, scales and boxes that you demonstrate. What I’m needing is a way to tie all of this knowledge together so that it comes out sounding like music and not simply practicing scales. I think I may have found what I’ve been looking for.

I just recently found the Amazing Guitar Secrets website when I picked up an old acoustic guitar that’s been in a closet for a decade and I was looking for where to start. I’ve wanted to learn how to play the guitar since 1990 but college, work, birth of twins, and recently moving has made it difficult to find the time. I’m 39 years old now and very excited that Dan Denley’s Acoustic Guitar Secrets is going to help me to finally learn how to play that old guitar. I can’t wait to get started and go from being able to play nothing to being able to play for my soon to be 4 year old twin son and daughter. They love strumming on daddy’s guitar and this will make memories of a lifetime for them. Thanks Dan for being there!

I would love this exceptional Martin guitar as i already own a very much cheaper second hand Martin and love the tone of the wood it gives. I teach guitar, unprofessionaly it has to be said, though i’ve been told the lack of credentials and presence of raw material and essence of that rock n roll DIY spirit in my lessons gives them a somewhat closer feel to the students. Acoustic Gutiar Secrets could really help me teach some more kids, not just about guitar, but use guitar as an open point, an acess to the whole area of music which is completely undsicovered, acoustic is great and brings a whole new dimension to guitar playing but sadly i’m not overly good at it, which is why i’m quite keen to secure a copy of Acoustic Guitar Secrets and maybe my own guitar with it.
Thanks

I find Dan’s approach to teaching guitar to be very helpful.
First, the videos make it easy to follow what he is doing while the audio narration explains it. This one two punch is what amateurs like me need to go back and back until I get how to do it.
I also like the lessons because there is a lot you can improvise off them once you have learned a technique.
Also, nice clean video which is a treat in its own right.
Winning a Martin would be a dream come true, although I must confess I’m a lefty so it might not be the right guitar (not that I would complain!).

I’m an avid fan of the Amazing guitar secrets programs; I’ve always enjoyed and been able to use the tips and advice from Dan Denley—I would absolutely LOVE to receive the Martin that will be given away, and I believe it is another wonderful way for the Amazing Guitar Secrets program to attract budding musicians—Good Luck for the future!—sincerely, Diane de Jongh

I would like to win this Martin DGT16 to replace the one I had stolen . I play guitar at Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Lyman SC. And a few months ago someone broke into the church and stole all the guitars and the one I had was a Martin DX1R. I currently have a Breeedlove AC20R. But it just isnt the same as playing A MArtin. As for Amazing Guitar secrets They have helped me become a better player.
Thanks

I believe that Acoustic Guitar secrets is an excellent course, and will benefit me alot. Just being a new guitarist, I want to learn a lot, and need help, this will help me greatly. I have incredible writing skills, in lyrics and poems, if I could learn how to play guitar better, I would be able to place music with my lyrics, and make my writing come to life more. I believe that playing an instrument brings people together. Can’t beat playing a nice christmas tune, on your guitar on christmas eve, or even christmas day. This program will benefit me in so many ways, I can’t even explain! Being a young highschool kid, I want to learn something that I can carry with me for the rest of my life, and of course make my parents proud.
I have been looking for awhile on a program to help me and I haven’t been able to find anything very useful, but now I have and am very excited! I will finally be able to play, and be proud of myself of my accomplishments!

The course is SOOOoo great. My old acoustic is
so hard to fret and holds me back so much.
The new Martin would be a pray answered.

I am excited because I want to be able to play the guitar better than I do and it has been very hard to learn so far. ..it has been very hard to learn to play, and every time I try to find a teacher, I find myself embroiled in so much theory, and it helps me in many ways, but not to actually play my guitar. I would like to feel more confident when I get up at those open mikes…right now I always feel very nervous because my guitar playing lags behind my singing and songwriting ability.
December 7th, 2007 at 7:06 pm
I’ve been trying to self teach guitar for a while now, and have worked my way through as many free help sites as possible (including this one and the lessons page of ultimate-guitar.com). However, I have unfortunately not progressed as well as I think I could have in the time I have been playing due to my lack of a structured course. My best friend, on the other hand, has A) been playing longer than I and B) could afford a tutor and therefore is a lot better than me, but more importantly has more money. He is very serious about his guitars and has an Ibanez RG and a Fender Tele among others. Therefore I feel that by selling this guitar to him (werer I to win it) I could A)ensure that it goes to a good home with someone appreciative of it and who would get good use from it and B)have enough money to buy the various products available here on AmazingGuitarSecrets.com so that I can progress with a structured course to become the guitarist that I aspire to be.

Im excited about the Acoustic Guitar Secret course because the course will break down barriers within my own songwriting. Learning more about guitar theory, chord progressions and styles within strumming and picking will help me to understand the guitar better so that I am not afraid to put songs together on guitar. I come up with songs daily, this course will benefit my ability to know what chords to put with the melodies I write.
December 7th, 2007 at 7:10 pm
i started to play my guitar a few years back, and i was not very good. so i started to look around on the net and i found this website.
i am exited about the Acoustic Guitar Secrets because i think it will help me become a better guitarist and if i keep practising and taking tips from dan, then it will give me a better chance to become a really good guitarist, and i will be able to make people happy by playing my guitar. if it wasnt for dan denley i would still be in the dumps on playing my guitar

I only wish I had discovered this resource 15 years ago. These insights unlock a door that many people never enter into and that is the pure joy of playing an instrument from your heart. How can you do that without the right tutoring. This course gives you the keys to unlocking the doors that I couldn’t open in my teenage years but now am terribly excited to do so and it’s a course that I can pass on to my two young sons as they grow up. It’s one of the best investments I can make, to pass on these keys to my own kids. What a gift that is as music outlasts us all. Thanks Dan. Terrific stuff. Kiearn (Ireland)

It’s great stuff, have a GREAT Holiday.

I make the rounds of playing for elderly people in homes and assisted facilities as well as some plays in grammer schools in my area.
All I know is that this guitar would be a great asset to the people that I play for who really appreciate good quality music and good clean fun.
December 7th, 2007 at 7:16 pm
Dan has helped me become quite a guitarist. I picked up my first guitar less than a year ago and have come a long way in a short time. I just bought a 97 USA Strat TX special, and REALLY need an acoustic of the same level. Playing guitar started out as a hobby and developed into a lifestyle. Amazing Guitar can accomadate and teach a guitarist of any level, unless your initials are EVH or SRV.
December 7th, 2007 at 7:18 pm
I am excited about Acoustic Guitar Secrets because ever since i was young, about 3 or 4, i’ve been teaching myself guitar. I’ve never been good. I’ve never even had my own guitar yet. I’ve just been wanting to have my ouwn guitar for a long time. Now that I have discovered amazing guitar secrets, I can really reach my goals, to be a better guitar player. I’ve been trying to learn off the free lessons and I see improvement in my playing. I’m really hesitant to buy the course because i’m saving up for a guitar i can call my own. If i were to win this guitar, I’m pretty sure i would buy amazing guitar secrets. This would help me get better and also have me playing on a beautiful guitar. I know amazing guitar secrets will benefit me because their free lessons have already taught me so much. Amazing guitar secrets will benefit me so then I can finally play along with my schools acoustic guitar club. Before i would sit there and try to learn from other people. Now with amazing guitar secrets, I believe that I will benefit so much that people will start coming to me for help.
Thanks Amazing Guitar Secrets

For me it’s simple, I’m enjoying the Lead guitar Secrets course so much, I’m starting to rock. This course will help redress the balance so I can start to play chilled out stuff. There is much more opportunity to entertain at home with this type of playing. From beautifull ballads to sublime chord structures, can’t wait.

I’ve been playing in bands (bass, keys and guitar) since 1961. Now my time and my music is almost up and its time to get rid of all my electrics. I’ve always though I’d like to continue playing and singing for myself, to the gradkids, birds and crickets mainly, I guess, but for that dream, I need to get myself a decent acoustic. Martin has always been THE acoustic guitar I’d love to own, but times haven’t worked the way I thought they should. This excellent contest is the only way I’m ever going to get one. Of course, I know that playing acoustic is rather different to playing my other instruments, so I’m going to have to do some learning. Your acoustic guitar course is my preference - even old dogs can learn new tricks - hopefully!!
December 7th, 2007 at 7:30 pm
Wow! This would be grrrreat!
I used to play guitar, cello and piano until I was in a bad accident that left me with a pretty severe head injury. Could play anything after that. I was pretty badliy injured from head to toe, so now I live on disability and can’t afford a decent guitar on which to re-learn. I promote local musicians free of charge on a local website just to keep the music “alive” in my life.
The guitar I’m learning on is so cheap that I couldn’t even have the action lowered because the whole guitar might fall apart. At least that’s what I was told by the people at our local Guitar Store. It’s really hard to play on.
I dream of playing again and playing at an open mic here in town that I go to every Wednesday. Yeah, it’s great to still have music in my life, but I’d sure like to be playing some instead of just listening.
December 7th, 2007 at 7:31 pm
I acquired Acoustic Guitar Secrets being more skeptical than sold on the product. I’m very glad I did. It has proven to be actually more of a very promising teaching aid than I ever would have imagined. I played while stationed in the military back in the early seventies, but never any formal training. Now I have an impaired eight year old daughter and when I take it out to play, her eyes light up with a smile from ear to ear. She loves the guitar so much, we bought her a smaller version for her to play (its basically beating the strings, but I still love her trying. So you see if I become a better player, its because this course allowed me to connect with my daughter in a way that causes me to get teary eyed at seeing her enjoy what I have learned to do. Because of this I thank you!
December 7th, 2007 at 7:31 pm
I love to play the guitar. I love this course and you have done a good job getting the word out. I love the sound that the Martin has. It is what got me to learn the guitar. With a musical background,it was not as hard as I thought it would be,but with this course,it is much easier. To have a Martin would be a dream come true. My wife has told me I play well, but she has not heard me on a Martin! Bringing joy to her as she goes through the Cancer healing process would just bring a real warm spot to my heart. Keep up the good work. You are a gem among plenty of rocks!

I have been logged on to this sight for a few months and i have learned alot about how to practice and what i should be doing. I am looking forward to the acoustic guitar secrets. so I can learn to play my acoustic guitar and have others when they hear me say its this song or that one. I am 52 years old and this old dog is trying to learn some new tricks.
thanks Dan you make it look so easy …I have tried other courses and from all the others I have gotten very little if any direction but from the way you said this will be I think I can learn alot. I already learned from you again thanks DAN
December 7th, 2007 at 7:34 pm
I taught myself to play guitar when I was 14 years old because I wanted to be able to accompany myself when I sang, and the piano was a little hard to get on the bus. I have been writing songs, singing and playing since. Last Christmas I gave my acoustic guitar to my daughter because she said she wanted to learn to play. I love your course because I have never had a guitar lession, and this is a much better way than trying to find a teacher that wants a student that has been playing as long as I have… on December 18, I will be 49. Even if someone has a better story, I want to thank you for all that you have done to help people learn to make music… that is very Cool!
December 7th, 2007 at 7:41 pm
wow it would help me lean and play better for other people that are sick and can not get out.music help people relax and feel better about them self
December 7th, 2007 at 7:43 pm
I am excited about Acoustic Guitar Secrets it easier to learn to play guitar. I would like to teach my daughter guitar from what I learned from the course, but I don’t have a guitar for her. So we shair the guitar. My daughter has learned a lot from what I showed her.
December 7th, 2007 at 7:43 pm
Hey Dan,
I purchased your Amazing Guitar Secrets course over a year ago and it has helped me take my playing to new heights. Based on that, and the fact that I play mostly acoustic, I’m sure your new course (along with that beautiful D16GT) can help me “bring the house down”.
I only ask, that if I win, you autograph the guitar. When people who don’t know you come up and ask, “Who’s Dan Denley?”, I’ll give you your due props and send them to your website.
Cheers & Happy Holidays!
Mike

I am 57 years old and have always loved the guitar. I am not the player I want to be (yet), but with your help I am sure I can improve to the point where I can entertain friends and family, and just have a lot of fun. I learned alot from your prior lessons on my electric guitar, but when I tried a “power slide” I knew instantly (and painfully) that I better switch to acoustic.
December 7th, 2007 at 7:54 pm
I suffer from the condition that frustrates most people that pick up the guitar. I want to learn it, but somehow I never seem to progress past learning the mechanics. Some people just seem to have that thing called talent that propels them past the mechanics, into making music. Thus far, I just make noise. Its like basketball, you can learn the mechanics of shooting the ball, and you can run windsprints and practice passing skills and how to dribble the ball, but until it becomes fun, you don’t have game. I believe Amazing Guitar Secrets will help me get past mechanical strumming and pentantic scales by making it fun to be PLAYing on the guitar. By making it fun Amazing Guitar Secrets turns it into a game and I’m learning like a child again.
December 7th, 2007 at 8:00 pm
I Can’t wait till Acoustic Guitar Solutions, because I really want to improve my guitar playing. I’ve been playing guitar for two years. My guitar teacher is amazing, si I hope to be as good as home. I already entertain friends and family playing guitar, but I am currently playing a crappy Burswood JW-41F(Which isn’t that good). So I really need a new acoustic, and would really appreciate that Martin.
December 7th, 2007 at 8:01 pm
Dan,
The acoustic guitar is one of the most intimate and beautiful interfaces of humans and music on our planet. From past experience, I know that you will provide a perfect communion between this cherished instrument and those of us that love it. Thank you!
December 7th, 2007 at 8:04 pm
I believe that the Accoustic Guitar secrets would help me get past the mechanical redundancy I have developed. I hear the music in my head, but it comes out forced and without meaning.
I am hoping to learn how to break away from the habits I have formed so I can play.

I have a old Kay arch top hollow body that I got from my Dad abotu 40 years ago. I was browsing the net and found my guitar to be made in the fifties , so shes pretty old . I am self taught . One Gent showed me how to play House of the Rising Sun about 30 years around and learned what little I do know Myself since , Untill I went on pension 7 years ago . With plenty of time on my hands and reasonably healthy I struggle to play my old Kay guitar . Browsing the net oh about a few months ago I found this great learning site @ Amazing Guitar Secrets and have picced up a few new songs and some more know how whitch I can’t tell you how much I apreciate passing my time learning at Guitar Secrets and so humbly Thank Mr. Dan Denly . Being on pension I just have my old Kay .From what I see on site I can only imagine what the full course would be like , A Truly God Send in excitment learning and playing . Once again I Thank You ” Dan ”

I have always wanted to own a Martin Guitar for as long as I can remember. I go into guitar stores just to look at guitars, especially the Martins just to, Ahhhh, dream.
Anyway, I have already purchased ‘The Amazing Guitar Secretes’ course and if the ‘Acoustic Guitar Secretes’ course is near as good then it will be a great compliment to the T.A.G.S
I have read the other replies and they all seem to have unselfish reasons for wanting to own such a fine Guitar, I’m afraid my motives are not so noble, I would just love to own the finest most brilliant most fantastic guitar ever made.
December 7th, 2007 at 8:11 pm
Playing acoustic guitar for many years, I have always come back to the fact that there is always more to learn. As my musical tastes expand, so too is the desire and need to become more technically and harmonically proficient. I am looking forward to the Acoustic Guitar Secrets course to help take me to that next level. Thanks
December 7th, 2007 at 8:16 pm
Blues is a form of music that seems to go right through me whether listening or playing. I purchased your blues primer dvd and book last year. While I do own a Takamine acoustic with built in pick up, I have never owned a Martin guitar; while a few friends over the years have let me play and admire theirs. Acquiring a Martin acoustic guitar has been a major goal for quite sometime; and I just have not quite been able to afford it. In addition to blues, I have always been a huge Neil Young fan; and I have learned a lot of finger picking and hammer on stylings playing this kind of music over the years, but have never owned a great acoustic guitar.
I turned 55 this summer, or hit the speed limit you might say; and if I could enjoy a Martin like this one; and then (quite a few years down the road hopefully) pass it on to my daughter who plays guitar, that would mean more than I can put into words. Dan I have really appreciated the guitar lessons and information that you have generously shared with us over the net; and thanks for this opportunity to throw in my raffle ticket.

I’m Mentally Challenged, people keeps telling me that i can’t do it but i know i can, so, I found this site, I’m gonna try this out. I’ve been havin my guitar for about 7 years now. it looks like it’s gonna help me out. I’ve learn how to put strings & tune it so far, thankyou for this site!
December 7th, 2007 at 8:18 pm
I have been playing harmonica , sax, and singing with bands forever. A year ago I took up an interest in guitar and have been slowly teaching myself. Dan’s approach seems very logical and complete. Plus his videos are clear, well focused, complete, and friendly. I commend him on all of his hard work. I wish I could afford a nice Martin like that one……
December 7th, 2007 at 8:21 pm
I Would like to win the Martin guitar because as an ex alcoholic I spend the time I would have spent in the bars writing songs and practicing on guitar. I know from experience that a quality instrument is easier to learn on,and easier to play in general. Someday I hope to play well enough to actually play the songs I have written that praise the awesome God who saved me from an early grave and the lifestyle I once had. I would like to play worship music and tell the world you don’t have to just live with your addictions and that God is still alive and on the throne. Keith

I want to learn more and different styles for the acoustic guitar. I am hoping to be lucky enough to get one of the first 1000.

Hi,from the good old state of Maine, and from an old-man, I’m 75-not that it matters, but I have to vent my feelings, about Dan’s excelent presentation , and knowledge, that he disperses to people like myself in his lessons, and e-mails.I’m teaching myself, for about two years now, I play an acoustic, and I’m a picker, I have about 10 or 12 pieces, I can play, I like the older songs e;Red River Valley,Wildwood Flower,Darling Clementine, you get the idea lol, well anyway I’m playing (or learning) on a JC Penney $100,00 guitar, mostly for therapy, makes me wonder how it would sound on a really nice guitar, but, regardless who wins , good luck to all.Oh, and Dan,I know from what I have learned from your lessons, guitar-secrets will be a great sucess-Bob Gray aka rufus29.
December 7th, 2007 at 8:23 pm
Learning is a positive happiness. Learning through your course, is an easier way, to make ourself happy. The end result is an accomplishment that will put a smile on our face. Your course is complete and we can learn more than we ask for. I plan to improve all aspects of playing the guitar. Dan, Thanks for sharing, your gift of teaching how to play the guitar, using the easiest way to get positive results.
December 7th, 2007 at 8:24 pm
I’m not exactly sure how to put this, as far as why I think I deserve the guitar. My father was an avid guitar player, and tried to teach me to play, but I never was really intersted. I joined the Army, and when deployed on an 18 month tour in Baghdad, I decided to pick up a guitar and learn to play. I am beyond excited and can’t wait for the guitar secrets, because, unfortunately, my father had cancer, and in his last days with us, he expressed how proud of me he was, for doing what I did in my life, and for finaly picking up a guitar and playing, and all he wanted for me was to strive to be the best player that I could. I feel that with the Acoustic Guitar Secrets, I could be that better player, for myself, and for my father.
December 7th, 2007 at 8:28 pm
I am 50 years old and after marriage, children, divorce and single parenting I am picking up the guitar again for the first time since college. The pleasure it gives me to create these beautiful sounds is indescribable. Dan’s videos are patient and encouraging and allow me to learn at my own pace. Even though it is hard work, learning new techniques, when it finally flows it’s magic.
December 7th, 2007 at 8:37 pm

December 7th, 2007 at 8:42 pm
Hi Dan, I have been toying with a few guitar courses. Though they are good, I was not a happy camper. They just did not make it happen for me. After a while I discovered the Amazing guitar, Blues primer, and lead guitar course, and struck pay dirt. Your courses did unlock a world of info for me and now with your new course on acoustic guitar, I’m sure that I will not be disappointed.
I worked very hard all my life and really do not know what’s the difference between a Martin or any other fairly decent guitar, but I’m sure that it would become an heirloom in my family and my grandson will appreciate playing it after he sees his grandpa rock. Thank you for the effort you invested in putting your courses together, believe me they are simply fantastic.

My seeing-eye dog was run over and my house burned down. I was mugged delivering food to the needy (which I do for my church)and my wife has recently miscarried for the thirteenth time.
I was so excited to see this, that when I jumped up to write why I think I should get the Martin guitar, I tripped and broke my ankle in five places (the cast will be on till next Xmas), but as soon as I left the hospital, I went straight to my computer! My son, who is terminally ill with a rare form of leukemia, would love for me to get this guitar.
What do you say, Dan?
December 7th, 2007 at 8:49 pm
I’m extremely excited about the Acoustic Secrets, and especially for a chance to win such a beautiful guitar. I’ve only really played on an electric guitar, and decided to get into acoustics within the last month. I have not yet bought an acoustic guitar, so of course winning this Martin would be absolutely amazing. Not being that well versed in the acoustic guitar, the course would probably help me loads and put me on a quick track to getting where I want to be. Thanks for the chance, Dan.

I am 59 years old and have recently discovered the wonder of making music. Maybe not the greatest music in the world but music none the less. At this stage in my life my desire to express myself in a pure form of clear music which can be recognized for its tonal quality and expresses itself in a way that others can reconize is my gold. To that end I have studied numerous on line sources and programs with the aim of equiping me with the skill necessary to complete my dream before I die. I constantly search the internet for sources in inspiration and knowledge… and well, Amazing Guitar Secrets has provide me with inspiration in my pursuit of prefection. The videos and comentary are wonderful and inspire me to be the musician I have always wanted to be but just am getting to the point were I can seriously try.
December 7th, 2007 at 8:51 pm
I’ll have to be honest. I didn’t really watch a lot of Dan’s videos. But the majority I have watched when I started 8 months ago has really taken me far. When approaching scales for the first time Dan really nailed it in the head and how the scales made up chords and how they are made. Really helpful. I believe people should be excited about Acoustic Guitar Secrets because it’ll put them ahead of the game, Dan’s way of teaching is crisp and clear, you won’t ever get loss. People will really benefit from this. Dan’s approach makes the guitar a fun instrument again, unlike others who give boring teachings that just make you wanna quit. With Acoustic Guitar Secrets, it’s probably guaranteed that you will have fun and learn songs you love or make your own. I mean that’s what the guitar is all about right? What a great way to promote a GREAT Product !

I am very excited about acoustic guitar secrets because I feel that there are way too many people out there who play the electric guitar that cant even begin to play an acoustic. To me this is the real guitar, sure its harder to play, but well worth it. In watching a few of your previews it looks like you know what your doing and the few song samples are awsome! If I only learn to play the songs of your course I will probably die a happy man. I will benefit from the course greatly because I have no desire to play other than acoustic guitar and this is what I am looking for. As an aside my son has been playing guitar 7 years to my 2 and I bought him a Martin a few years back but he never allows me to play it because I am “not good enough” what gratitude. What better way to show him up with a Martin of my own-playing some of the awsome songs I will learn from your course!
December 7th, 2007 at 8:57 pm
Dan, I have been following yours courses w/ great zeal. They have helped (significantly)sp?! I have spent enough time in the local music stores, drooling over the Great instruments, to know that a fine instrument plays very differntly than one of lesser quality. To be sure, one who plays well will play well on anything, and likewise some who knows nothing will still know nothing on a fine instrument. I would love to have this Martin, w/ your autograph… I know that sounds really Brown nosey, but but you have had a lot to put up with from a difficult student. Even if you haven’t heard the grief, the tv playing your DVD has; not at you but how you make it all look so easy! And as I get through each stage, then it starts to feel easy. Thanks for sharing all your talents w/ me and the thousands of other students that look to you for guidance and advice. I don’t know what determines “deserving” such a prize Guitar; I probably don’t. And there are probably Many in far greater need, I will Just say thank you again.

AGS, BGS, LGS and now the Acoustic Guitar Secrets course! I’ll be ordering the latest course as I have the first three. I won the Strat earlier this year and don’t want to be considered for the Martin as my wife bought me a D28 for my birthday in 1981. However, I do want to tell everyone that these courses are the real deal and have completely transformed my playing and made me an amazing guitarist. No, it doesn’t sound humble to say that but the spirit that I say it in is from Dan as he is the guy who made it possible. I hope that the winner of the guitar will be as happy as I was when I won the Strat and I hope he/she passes on what was given. I’ll be playing a concert next friday for Christmas and will be using the Strat, of course! Peace and good luck to all!

Dear Dan,
I’m one of your best fans. I started playing three years ago, and I wasn’t quite sure why. The only formal instruction I’ve had is from all of your Amazing Guitar Secrets courses. I’ve come a long way in the last three years and I have you to thank for it. When I saw the Acoustic Guitar Secrets course, I said to my wife that this is exactly what I’ve been looking for. At the moment, I have a Ibanez acoustic (cheap). It sounds okay, but I know what a top of the line Martin sounds like and how it plays. Wow! I do have an ulterior motive…I want to get good enough to play with the church praise band. It’s a lofty goal, but we’ll see what happens. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

From a family of musicians, learning guitar was basically expected. I’ve had the benefit of tutorials from several siblings and a very patient Mother beginning at youth.
Through no lack of love for the arts, I just could not master even the most basic steps.
That is until I ran across Dan’s Amazing Guitar Secret’s.
The biggest factor being Dan’s ability to remain as actively involved in a one on one basis if needed to bring even the most stubborn students along. I’m living proof. The self paced lessons are priceless.
Dan’s promise of leaving no one behind is one he takes very seriously. If you want to learn to play the guitar even if,or especially if you’ve had trouble learning in the past. Then Dan and The Amazing Guitar Secrets is the only help you need to begin flying on the fret board. Two of my siblings have played for many years. After witnessing my new found abilities, having tried to teach me for so long without success, have decided to try Dan’s site. Both have found you can teach old dog’s new tricks.
Thank’s Dan for breaching a wall others couldn’t scale.
If Mama could only see me now. Tom Hoselton

Im a 16 year old kid that lives off the sound of a guitar (I know a little sappy but its true). My father bought me my firstact guitar when i was 8 and i have never stopped playing since. Over the years i have been actually trying to find an online course and i always wanted to learn the blues well i couldnt find one tll i came across dan’s it worked wonders im hoping to play at my sister’s wedding soon and maybe for my school on christmas. I have an electric but i have never enjoyed the sound of it i just like the way an acoustic sounds. Now im not gonna sit here and try to get you to feel sorry or anything like that because i beleive that if you tell the truth and show your heart maybe things will happen for you, you know. I dont just use the comment box just to get things but to show how dan helped me become somthing i have wanted to be for years. I want more people to pick up a guitar and jam to your favorite song with an electric or acoustic and just have fun….
Okay now on answering the question i should have answered already but i was just sayin thanks..Okay reasons why i think that this will help me, is one it wont just help me but it will help many other people to learn acoustic and hopefully stick with it. It will help me learn more cords and just have fun when i play. The Martin is a guitar that i looked at before but i cant offord things like that so i thought i would take a shot at maybe winning.. That guitar in the picture is awsome the look of it is so rad. I can picture myself now playin on stage with it haha.. Dan i know you have alot of comments to go through but i be mine will be the longest haha.. I just wanted to show you that its not just that its a free guitar its somthing that means alot to even be thought of getting such a guitar. To the best of luck to everyone else and who ever wins..Please take care of it well cuz even guitars need love..Take care Dan and lookin forward to seeing who wins and seein knew guitar secrets..Catch you all on the flip side..KEEP JAMMIN!!

I would like to have your course for me and my oldest grand child to use. I am an indigent vet and to be truthful if I could win your course, thats the only way I could get it right now.
December 7th, 2007 at 9:19 pm
Dan, I have been receiving emails and brief lessons from your mails…..They are absolutely amazing….I am on a quest to learn the guitar and I am convinced that I will find fullfilment in it….If this course is anything like your brief lessons I know I will receive an impartation beyond my wildest dreams….I am looking forward to this course because I’ve been trying to learn guitar for a number of years now….It was only since I connected with your webste and started receivinbg your emails that I beagn to really grasp this thing….You are not only a guitarist but you have the grace and gifting to impart knowledge..I am looking forward with eager anticipation, to receive my copy and take my playing of acoustic guitar to the next level…I am ready Dan bring it on!
December 7th, 2007 at 9:24 pm
I have been playing guitar 20+ years but think I could further advance with insruction about scales and keys. Even though I have developed my own playing style there always seems to be “something else” to learn while watching others play.
December 7th, 2007 at 9:24 pm
Dan,I must say that what you do, and how you share your knowledge is a gift I can never repay! Thank You! Since I found your website I have played guitar for more hours than in years, and even played and sang “Simple Man” for my son at his high school graduation. Now I`m learning Pentatonic Scales, how chords are made, all the theory I never thought I would learn! With this D16GT Martin, and the Accoustic Guitar Secrets Course, there would be no limit to how far I could go!! You`ve made a believer out of me, and learning and practicing are fun again!! Thank You!!!
December 7th, 2007 at 9:27 pm
I am so excited about your course “Acoustic Guitar Secrets” I believe that this course will help me through my guitar career. I will become a much more mature guitarist and be able to do heaps more with my guitar playing. I love your e-mails and free videos, they have really helped me with my playing. I am now a much better soloist because of “Soloing with Pentatonic Scales” and have memorised all the movable patterns and their notes. I would love to own a Martin because the only Acoustic I have now is a crappy old Nilon string guitar that my mums frined found me in the Dumpster. It only needed new tuning heads but it is really old and crappy. Keep sending me e-mails and other things related to your course. You have been a great role-model for me!
Thankyou Dan
December 7th, 2007 at 9:58 pm
I’m worried, very worried Dan, you need help! You sell your fantastic product for too little and then have scratch and dent sales and special deals just because some packages got a little messed up; hey, we need you to stay in business. Now you think you have to give away a Martin guitar!!! There are cheapy import “guitars” you can get for nothing to give away. Everyone will come up with some really important reason or praises for your stuff so they can get your guitar for free BUT you need to keep that guitar so you don’t spend more of your small “profits” to replace it… are you really that crazy? If I win keep your guitar, we have three. Actually, my wife has, I am just trying to figure out how to catch up with her but I’m afraid of messing up her “babies”. You are amazing and have so much “give” us but I worry about you not being able to be there for those who could still discover you ‘cept for the fact that you gave it all away.
Cheers Dan! Yoiks and away!

Dear Dan, I hope you’ll forgive me when I tell you that I’m currently in a bad financial situation and can’t afford to purchase your great course right now. I just had my 3rd back surgery and the wife and I are struggling to get by. Am I still able to enter the contest to win that sweet guitar ? Peace Love and good will, John.
December 7th, 2007 at 10:10 pm
I have wanted to learn to play guitar since i was a teenager. Due to circumstances ( War, wandering years overseas etc…), I went on without ever realizing this wish. For the past 3 years, I have found time and looked for the complete, effective method to learn it. Your method seems to be the right one. As far as being a beginner, why not try for the stars and get the best of everything? Entering the contest for a guitar is something I have never done. Might as well shoot for it?
Best,
Vinh

G’day Dan, Here I was thinking that your Amazing Guitar Secrets course was as good as it gets but from what I have seen in the exceptional video extracts from your upcoming Acoustic Guitar Secrets Course, I suspect that I am wrong. Through your courses and your various sites, I have learnt more about my guitar than I could have imagined after only 12 months of playing and now your Acoustic Secrets hints have me playing a fair rendition of ‘Pulled Pork Plate” using a simple fingerpicking technique that I thought would be beyond my capabilities not long ago. I am keenly awaiting the release of the full package to enable me to specifically develop my all-round knowledge, playing styles and handling skills on the acoustic guitar, my instrument of choice.
Best regards,
ps… who was it who said I would get bored in retirement.
December 7th, 2007 at 10:36 pm
As much as I’ve tried to convince myself that I’m destined to be the next Eric Clapton or Brian Setzer, the truth is I work for a living and just want to come home in the evening, open a beer and noodle around on an old six string.
That’s where the new acoustic lesson package comes in. It’s perfect for where I’m headed. Which is a warm solid relationship with the guitar with no rock star sugarplums floating in my head. heh heh
As for the Martin, well, hmmmmmm…..I do go to bluegrass jam sessions from time to time. I’m a strummer, not a picker y’see. My Epi isn’t really “voiced” for playing with these folks, but a Martin certainly is. So there ya go.

I hope acoustic guitar secrets will be yet another tool from Dan Denlay to help me evolve to the one thing that music brings to world. Harmonious resounous that penetrates our bodies and souls that the heart can truly feel alive. Thru these secrets we can only hope to bring the one smile that will pass on through out the world. Help me in my quest to find that one resounding smile that this world needs. I will find that smile!!!!
December 7th, 2007 at 11:02 pm
Hey. I amazing guitar secrets is great. I love the tips that help me to become a better acoustic player. The guitar would be great. To be honest I would not keep it though. I would give it to one of the kids in my youth group at church. I know a gob of kids who could use a nice acoustic but can’t afford it. God has already blessed me with a very nice acoustic so there is no need for two. I hope I get the opportunity to bless someone! Thanks Dan.

Simply put, while I am an accomplished player, this site offers valuable tips, refereshers and a bit of spice and keeps me from getting stale. As a result I have been able to stay out of the ruts that players can get into.
Thanks a bunch!

I have been playing the guitar off and on for over 35 years. (more off than on) I enjoy the challange of learning new riffs and approaches than are shown. At my age (55), I find that there are almost no musical styles that I don’t enjoy playing and learning. Blues,(my favorite)rock, country or whatever. It keeps these old fingers nimble. Remember, an old dog can be taught new tricks..
December 8th, 2007 at 10:54 am
Hi Dan
Most people never get to play a guitar like a Martin, let alone own one. Playing a guitar like this would be a dream come true for me personally. I may never be a good player, but owning an instrument such as this would allow me to become as good as I can be, which is all that I could ask for.
Best wishes
Charlie

Hi Dan,
I am excited about the Acoustic Guitar Secrets because it will help me keep my fingers and hands agile. I have rheumatoid arthritis and have found that playing the guitar helps with the pain and stiffness in my fingers. My biggest worry in life is losing my ability to play music because it brings me so much joy and provides me with a social life. Having a quality instrument that doesn’t hurt my joints when I press down will make such a big difference in my hand health. I volunteer with the arthritis society, and also with seniors. When they see that another ‘almost senior’ with arthritis still has ability and fun in life through music, it helps everyone maintain a positive outlook, even through our aches and pains.
Watching your ‘pentatonics’ vid on youtube and applying the scales when improvising brings on the ‘rock and roll’ feeling even to us ‘oldtimers’.
Thanks for your awesome teachings.

Playing guitar is my passion however for years I struggled with my rhythm and timing. Yes, I am one of the unfortunate ones who has struggled with this until I found Dan’s web site. I’ve tried several courses prior to Dan’s amazing guitar secrets including talking to many of my friends who tried to explain it all to me in great detail however, I just didn’t get it. Recently Dan sent me an e-mail with video instructions that covered acoustic guitar srumming. I was amazed that he actually covered acoustic guitar rhythm and in a fashion that was so easy to understand. I can’t express the gratitude I feel to have actually found a course that could explain and give video demonstrating on rhythm guitar and a way of strumming that helped me considerably in a short period of time. Now, for the first time in years, I am able to play songs all the way through and my friends actually want to hear me play. I’ve always dreamt of one day being able to afford a Martin guitar but even more so than that I’ve wanted to be able to play rhythm in time, Thank You Dan! :0)

Hi Dan,
I just had my 73rd birthday so I ordered your AGS for a present for myself. I had told an old friend I was going to learn guitar since it is something I have always wanted to do but didn’t have the time (or courage) to try.
He said no way, at your age you’ll never be able to do it. I had been looking for a program that would help show my friend how wrong he is and I remembered seeing your videos and some of your lessons.
I’ve only been playing for a short time but I am already proving my friend wrong. Thanks for the great learning plan.
If I win the Martin that will just be a bonus as I am already getting my satisfaction.
Thanks,
Ken Tucker

Having tried several acoustic guitar courses, I find that Dan’s is the only one that works for me. The pace of the instruction matches my “older” understanding. As a disabled Veteran, I spend a lot of time playing for other Veterans in local nursing homes and at the local VA hospital. While not a great musician, leaving a smile on those folks faces is what is really important.
Thanks for helping that process

I purchased a course and sent it back. I could still use the guitar. I don’t teach in some 3rd world country, or have a sick relative or a dying cat but it beats having to buy one. Besides, I figure we would be even since I have to deal with the constant emails.
PS. will it be here in time for Christmas?
December 8th, 2007 at 11:33 am
Dan, your course took me from the basement, cosy playing, to the real life playing with some pal´s and, who know´s, we can get some jobs in small clubs, in Copenhagen, later on…
Thanks… keep up the good work
Michael from Denmark

I am considering purchasing the course as I believe it would allow me to fulfill a dream of being able to read my favorite music and with patience and hard work, become proficient enough to play those great songs.
December 8th, 2007 at 11:54 am
As a new student of your courses I’ll tell you why I’m as excited about the acoustic guitar secrets course as you are ! I have been strumming around and picking out a few leads for quite a while.( lets just say I’m over 55 )I have so many guitar courses it ain’t funny that I watched and worked on a lick or two and watched the instructor amaze even himself as what he could do. So I would try to show off just like he did on the video or DVD and get very little instruction and end up being dissapointed and frustrated at the same time. Then it was back to the old play the same old songs and whip off a little ditty I knew so well and go to a tab site and print another song out in hopes I could now play it because it was on the DVD. Then Dan sent me an email about his course and I was thinking well here we go again. Then another email with a link to a lesson and another and another. Well I really had learned something from the lessons he was giving away. I thought this is really nice getting these free lessons and my confidence was growing and Dan was looking like a very honest man who just maybe able to help this old guy play the stinking guitar at last. I had started understanding a few things who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks!! Well Dan made me an offer on his course and I accepted it and WOW ! Here’s a guy who took me by the hand in the comfort of my home and showed me what I should learn, along with why I should learn it, and what will happen when I learn it!! The exercises in the scales in the 5 positions not only have jump started my picking and understanding the fret board my fingers feel like a teenagers again. I’m pretty excited as you can see I haven’t had the pleasure of learning the guitar in a long time and Dan has given that to me .Thanks Dan and your wife for the encouraging emails also. Thats why I’m excited…..Bill Gray

It feels like you´ve been like shown a short cut, you know, but once you´re on it, it actually don´t feel like it at all. Get what I mean?
December 8th, 2007 at 11:58 am
What I enjoy most is that the course(s) are broken into step by step lessons. Whether your a beginner or have been playing for some years I guarantee you will learn something new. Dan has the ability to play many different styles and with time and practice and patience you will be playing the same type of styles as him. I like the course because its my own pace, on my own time. Nothing like hitting rewind a million times just to make sure I understand the lesson. Winning this acoustic would mean I finally have at least one top of the line guitar in my possession. Best of luck to all those - I’m sure whoever wins will be honored and thrilled.

Dan you’re a great teacher, not too fast, not too slow. You also go over sooo much material even in the free lessons. It would be hard not to learn from you. I think anyone could benefit from any of your lessons. I have tried just about every free lesson on the internet and I have to say that yours rank right up at the top. Thanks Dan for all the hard work that you have put into these lessons. I always look forward to e-mails from you because I know I’m going to learn something. Thanks again, and thanks for the opportunity to win a Martin, I’d never be able to afford to buy one on my income as I just draw a disability check once a month. Keep up the good work Dan and know that it is appreciated.

I am excited about the Dan’s new project, Acoustic Guitar Secrets. Dan’s material is the best, but I am an acoustic blues and bluegrass picker. Most material available, from Dan and others, has always focused on electric guitars and rock music. This course should be a great addition to my material focused on the guitar I play. Thanks Dan!
December 8th, 2007 at 12:34 pm
Dan has sincerely and methodically approached the on-line and CD learning of the guitar, to new levels. I originally started with going to the County Library and checking out “HOME SPUN” videos VHS cassettes. Now with the Internet and new videos techniques that Dan and his associates are using has opened me up to a whole new exciting approach that has re-introducing me to getting back to the basics and helping me realize that even the long time guitars can use a boost to learn new music. Dan seems to really put you in the creative side of wanting to learn new stuff, which is the best way to put your own guitar blend into your songs and music you write. Hope this helps others to reach out and see what Dan has to offer.

Hi,I am a intermediate player and just joined the Weekend Warriors program here in my area,Nova Scotia,Canada.I think this would be very beneficial to me as I am the front man in the band and do most of the singing and play acoustic and sing on others.I love music of most all types and I have been watching and learning what I can from your video’s that I get via email for which I thank you.I want to broaden my skills especially in fingerpicking so this course I think would definitely help me with this.
God Bless and keep on pickin!
Cheers John
P.S. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year one and all!

I’m a self-taught guitarist who hadn’t progressed much since the age of 15 (I’m 46 now.) Dan’s earlier course has been helpful (and quite a bargain!) and now I need to learn how to get the most out of my acoustic playing.
December 8th, 2007 at 12:46 pm
I’m 53 years old and have two teenage sons. I stopped playing for 20 years while my life took a different diretion. Last Christmas I bought a couple of inexpensive electric guitars for my sons as they expressed an interest in learning. I still had my original $50 Yamaha A classical guitar, my very first, and I started playing again. I fell in love wiht the instrument all over again. I have been examining different instructional courses for my sons and found Dan Denley’s site through a referal from Chris Standring. Unfortunately I have not been able to afford to buy any of his courses yet (I was hoping to purchase for them for this Christmas) but have been gleaning every bit of information from the free video releases for all the courses. I’ve had my son sit through them all as well to make sure the teaching style was good for him and he says, “I could really learn a lot from this course, dad.” I’ve never owned a Martin, it would be a dream come true for us to have such an instrument. That guitar, together with the Acoustic Guitar Secrets course would be a beautiful “arrangement” to have so that I could take my sons to the next level.

Hi Folks,
Thanks for all your amazing entries. I’m truly humbled at the response. This is going to be VERY difficult to choose three finalists.
Anway, I just wanted to say that I thought of something…
If you are one of the three winners from other contests in years past, please do NOT enter again. You can only win once.
Cheers,
Dan

There are many ways to learn how to play the guitar, but very few instructors like Dan, that give you a wonderfull knoledge base with which you can build your own music foundation. This acoustic cource is going to improve the quality of guitar playing throughout the world. Not to mention my own private pleasure I derive from just making music with my acoustic guitar. The benefitts are numerous, foundation is foremost, and Dan delivers the package with heart and soul, Thanks Dan….Ken

I live in a beautiful country named Norway. Now, on Monday, we are giving the peace Nobel-price to former vice-president of the USA. He has surely enough money to buy a Martin-guitar too, but I think he will use the price-money in another way. Frankly, we norwegians give a lot, but we also have a lot. The most of us, I am not in that cathegory, unfortunately, but I live on a small pension from the goverment together with my father at 77 years of age. I do not complain. I thank God that I have my daddy! Our best time is when we can play guitar together. He is my number 1 teacher, and he has a Sigma guitar made for the Martin Company. That is a wonderful guitar, and my wish is to get a guitar that sounds a bit like his. That is why I am trying to get that guitar you are giving away. (I can afford the sipping). God Bless!
December 8th, 2007 at 1:10 pm
Hello all. I would like to get the Martin and the way I would use it to teach other kids in the neighbor-hood that want to learn. I have mostly electrics. But I can’t afford a nice acoustic. It would be nice just to pick it up and bring it out on the porch rain or shine.(my porch is in close. I’m forty and back in school. So I don’t get very much to live on with a family and my son would get a kick out of it and maybe want to learn as well. He’s seven, my neices live above me as well and their friends come over and hear me play. But my wife doesn’t like it to much because I get to carried away with the londness.haha, So acoustic would change her tune. Well thanks for the time to read this, Merry Christmas to all,or other holiday you celebrate and hope that everything goes well to you. Have a good year as well.
December 8th, 2007 at 1:18 pm
I started to teach myself guitar just under a year ago and have mastered many styles so far but only on the electric guitar as there are many web sites for this type of guitar, I would love to play the acoustic guitar and strumming patterns seem so much better on this type of guitar, I have also tought myself to play Cavatina on the electric and would love to play it on the acoustic as I know it sounds much better on this type of guitar, I have suprised myself at my ability so far as I was 50 years old last year when I started and I have now got my son playing also, he was 12 years old this year and is now having lessons at school. I would love the Martin as it is not only a superb instrument it is my name sake. And finally Your courses are the easiest to follow on the net thank you.
December 8th, 2007 at 1:31 pm
I am looking forward to the release of Amazing guitar secrets due to the fact, I am a intermediate player of guitar. I need the help to educate myself in different strumming patterns, unique lead riffs, fingerpicking,
and blues riffs. I believe this system of education (as advertised) will help me “master” the guitar. I can’t wait for it to be sold!!!
December 8th, 2007 at 1:56 pm
I can’t wait for the release of Amazing Guitar Secrets because the courses are interesting and easy to follow no matter what your age or ability is.
I have learned so much from the Lead Guitar and the previous Amazing Guitar that I now have the confidence to teach beginners. I learned more from these courses than from a year of lessons.
Keep em coming, they are the tops.
December 8th, 2007 at 2:12 pm
Amazing Guitar Secrets that i have is very informative.
I do like this course

I am excited about Dan Denley’s New Accoustic Guitar Secrets because I’ve always dreamed of playing the guitar ever since I was a young girl and time and money and dysfunctional family issues have always been a problem that have forced me to focus my time on working, buying groceries ect. Finding time and money for a good guitar and lessons or even time to practice can be difficult. One thing that helps is Dan Denley’s ability to show you so many very important keys to playing. He has a way of combining theory with music playing in a fully understandable practical guide that shaves huge blocks of time off the learning curve without boring you with details that don’t have practical application. He combines video, sound, pictures, music, tabs, chords, strumming and picking patterns and styles with playing by ear key signature set ups to really get you going.
I know of no other player/teacher educator who gives away so much of what he’s learned to help others uncover their hiden and reluctant talents. He is incredibly talented and gifted in sharing his knowledge and really providing you with valuable information to propel you forward to delevop the guitar playing that you desire. He does not fill up his cd’s with information that is not valuable useful and necessary to make you the guitar player that you always dreamed of being.
Thank you Dan and God Bless you and your Team!

Hey, Dan,
My 8 year old son recently asked Santa Claus for a guitar for Christmas. I do believe that “Santa” is bringing a 3/4 scale electric for him. All of your tips and lessons are going to be very helpful when I start his guitar education. This will be my first attempt at teaching so wish me luck! Hopefully I can show him some of the things you’ve given to your students.
I have an old Tak G series that I’ll use to give him lessons. But, nothing sounds like a Martin dreadnought!
thanks,
Roy

I am excited about Acoustic Guitar Secrets because Dan Denley is a very good and thorough music teacher. I’ve been working through Amazing Guitar Secrets as a beginner for about a year now (I’m 47), and I’ve learned things I never thought I could learn from an online, self-instructional course. The videos that go along with the book lessons are very helpful, as Dan makes some of the mysteries of music simple to understand. I am finding that I really love acoustic guitar, and have been applying what I’ve learned to create my own style. I know I still have a long way to go, but through Acoustic Guitar Secrets I am confident that my guitar playing will continue to improve by leaps and bounds. I am really dying to learn fingerstyle acoustic, so an acoustic guitar specific course was the next thing I was going to be looking into. Perfect timing!!!

Oh, to be able to play the guitar–I mean really play, and not just strum the C, F, and G7 chords. The ones who do always seem to play so effortlessly. But I know better. I thought it was hard to get the F right, and I finally did. But I still can’t do the Barre chords. I still can’t do the finger patterns I’d like. I still can’t move between the chords the way you should. No, I’m still stuck on the basic chords, and, I hate to admit it, but that’s where I’ve been for about 25 years. So I know it’s tough to master the guitar. Don’t get me
wrong–I have fun playing and I’ve got a pretty good voice. And people even enjoy hearing me sing and play. But if I could just get to the point of really being able to play, then I could make beautiful music. I’ve heard Acoustic Guitar Secrets is a super way–it provides the road to follow and the method to stay on that road. The author, Dan Denley, is known as being the best to get people to the guitar master level. So I’m looking forward to it coming out so I can get on that road to beautiful music.

I am really excited about the new Acoustic Guitar secrets package because I have been struggling to play the acoustic guitar for about 3 years now and have seen all my friends sail ahead and become quite good guitarists with putting not that much effort into it, where as I have put hours and hours in. So I believe this product will give me the knowledge and fundementals to become as good as them and even better (even though thats not why I am doing this).
If this course is anything like the previous, it will be absolutly jam packed with information and thi will be presented by a skillful teacher in a very easy to understand manner.
Thankyou.

Hi,
I am starting to learn how to play the guitar late in life. I started playing the guitar last year after retiring. I wanted to do something to keep my brain active. I’ve never taken music so I am learning music theory, how to read music and how to play the guitar. I’ve purchased your Amazing Guitar Secrets course, Lead Guitar course, Blues Guitar course and read all your emails. I have found all to be very beneficial. I am looking forward to your new course, Acoustic Guitar Secrets. I am retired and on a fixed income so it would be a dream come true to win the Martin guitar. I have been a fan of Martins since before I started playing. I have Martin Guitar Masterpieces (book of Martin guitars and their famous owners)lying on my coffee table.
Thanks, Terrie

Well i am sure from seeing the advance clips of the acoustic package that we are in for a real treat. Dan’s teaching has improved with each new project he tempts us into buying and his methodology is spot on for beginners and improvers and even for the already accomplished.
Just one wee gripe Dan…..lefty’s just have to get on and try and transpose all the data and of course the Martin is a right handed version!!!! so us lefty’s can only dream of having such a super instrument.
kind regards from Scotland.. and keep those fingers moving…guess i will be treating myself to the acoustic package and i dont even know what the damage to the bank balance is going to be until all is revealed next week !

I am a beginner, I have loved the Guitar sound and the dinamics it represents in music. I desided I wantd to have the experiance of making that sound myself. IM not just learning it for that but also as therapy. I am resently diognosed with MS. The guitar has given me hope for coping with it and gives me releif when I play something I can understand and enjoy. Your insturctions have made me belive that I can play. You make them in terms that are ubderstandable and esay to follow. With the restrictions of my inconvinience, I have to take lessons self taught and yours has excited me at the prospect they present to me.
Thank you for giving great meaning to the music I hear.

Hi Dan,
I am very excited about your ACOUSTIC GUITAR SECRETS course for many reasons. I am 47 years old and just starting to learn how to play guitar. After reviewing and trying many different courses out there, I purchased your AMAZING GUITAR SECRETS and was absolutely blown away with your ability to explain in simple language, what playing the guitar is all about. You have a unique way of making it so easy to understand and that makes guitar even more fun !
I am not a very fast learner when it comes to most things but I swear that your course and your explanations have made me progress faster than I would ever imagined. My wife was so surprised the other day when she overheard me playing my first song the other day - she could not believe it was me !
I am hooked for sure and I cannot wait to get your new course ! I would absolutely love to win the Martin acoustic guitar - there is something about acoustic guitar that rings out like no other sound. Acoustic guitar is what made me want to learn and your fantastic method of teaching is what is taking me to new levels every time I practice (and I practice 6 days a week) !
Keep up the outstanding work and please let me know when your ACOUSTIC GUITAR SECRETS is available - I don’t want to miss out.
Happy Holidays to you and your family !

Hello,
My name is Shay and im 16 years old and I live in the north of Israel (where the last war took place).
So excuse me about my English.
Ive been playing my mom’s very old classic guitar for about 3 years, and your products helped me a lot.
I know the chances that ill be in the final 3 are so small but I have hope. Im excited because although im playing 3 years i never really didn’t learn to depth about the guitar and about all the scales and notes. So im sure your package will give me a lot of benefit. And if ill win ill seat every day with the guitar because iwant to learn, but i never had the option.
I hope you can understand what I wrote, and if you didnt I hope you’ll understand what I mean.
Thanks,
Shay

I am a 14 year old girl. I have loved guitars and desperately wanted to play one since I was about 8. Unfortunately, for reasons I can’t really discuss here, my father refused me a guitar.
The summer I turned 13, my mom, my two younger brothers and I left my father. We moved from a huge four bedroom house in the richest neighborhood in town to a tiny two bedroom apartment, and I had never been happier.
I had always absolutely loved visiting the local Guitar Center to drool over the beautiful acoustic guitars there. One day my mom took me there and suddenly decided that we were going to walk out with a guitar, even though neither of us had the first clue what to look for. Ever since, I have played my wonderful $200 Yamaha FG700S every single day.
But… how to learn? We didn’t have the money for steady lessons or expensive home courses. I began teaching myself from websites. There is so much stuff out there, and I still can’t tell what is good and what is crap.
However, my mom says I can get one course for Christmas this year. I have been receiving your emails now for a while, so I began to look at all the courses you offer, which I had never let myself do before. I settled on Acoustic Guitar Secrets almost immediately. I already know most basic music theory (there is a course at my school), and I just want to get out there and play! I feel like I could really soar if I could just get a solid grounding in the basics, which I don’t think I ever really got. Your course looks perfect for my needs. Thank you.

OH YES I am excited to say the least! For years I have been struggling with playing the guitar, with an occasional breakthrough, too far and few between! BUt I am so looking forward to Acoustic Guitar Secrets, In just the few free sessions I have received, the lights come on! With this course and that GUITAR!!!! I am ready to put years of disappointment and frustration behind, and make a valuable contribution to the wonderful world of MUSIC! Thanks all for the lessons regardless whether I win or not! Thanks Dan!

Well for starters I must say I have been receiving email alerts as well as instructional videos for quite some time now from this website.. I must say I am highly impressed with the quality of video, teaching and fundamentals of how certain things should be done… I have been playing for 2+ years and am at the ripe age of 19.. music is my passion I play on a Washburn acoustic and acoustic is what I love and I really feel that this course will teach me things I had no idea of and season the already wonderful information I have learned from these videos and with a guitar as fine as that Martin I really feel my level of playing would just blow my mind… anyway im really excited about this.. take care guys :)-Ryan

Just a few minutes ago I ordered the Blues Guitar Secrets course.
I love blues and I would love to play blues as it should be played; from our harts through our fingers to our ears. But, to learn my fingers to play, I need some help…And this help is the Blues Guitar Secrets.
I love my acoustic guitar and I would love to play it even better. I know that I want to learn new techniques and get some tips. I do not need any sort of guarantee anymore. My previous two courses (Amazing Guitar Secrets and Lead Guitar Secrets) have given me this guarantee. Now I play much better than one year ago and I enjoy playing guitar every day.
Acoustic Guitar Secrets will me learn this techniques and it brings me lot of fun and great time.

Amazing Guitar Secrets are just that AMAZING!
I have tried for years to learn and stay motivated to practice with little success, but your lessons and tips have helped me learn in months what I couldn’t do in years.
THANKS!

Dear Dan, 12/08/07
You have really gone out of your way this time. By
not only giving us the best teacher who has a way of communicating the lesson at hand, but giving a deeper insight on the subject being taught.
I’ve enjoyed and look forward to all my lessons from
you Dan,
I would really hope I could be in the running for this kick-ass Martin I will play the frets off and make my fingers bleed and my ears will flop up & down in delite from the sounds escaping the guitars large music box Oh…..the thought of it just blows my musical mind.
All I can say is you have no other more committed student, and I would relish the chance to be considered for the opportunity of being taught by you and playing the lessons on my new Martin.
Thank You,
James Wengert

Hi Everyone!
To me, there’s something about the sound of a solo acoustic guitar that touches my soul more than any other musical instrument…
As a former Martin owner (I had to sell my D-45 a few years ago because of some hard financial times after a divorce… but that’s another story!), I’ve discovered that there is nothing that compares to playing a Martin. I’ve played other acoustic guitars and, although some of them had wonderful sound, they just didn’t “feel” right. It was kind of like: after owning and driving a Jaguar, my Buick just isn’t the same!
[Shameless plug: yes, I'd like to win the Martin!]
I’m looking forward to Dan’s “Acoustic Guitar Secrets”, as I feel that his in-depth, multi-sensory approach to guitar instruction — kinesthetic (“hands on”), visual and auditory stimulation — is the most efficient method for helping me (or any student) learn and retain what I learn.
It’s kind of like having a guitar “teacher” who never tires from my repeated questions (”Show me again”…), and who is also there for me when I get off of work at 2:00 am and want to play my guitar.
I also own Dan’s “Amazing Guitar Secrets” program, and find it to be worth FAR more than he asks for it. So please don’t tell Dan, and let’s keep this as “our” secret!
Honestly and all kidding aside: I don’t know Dan personally, but I truly have found his “Amazing Guitar Secrets” course to be worth FAR more than it’s weight in gold, and have NO doubt that his “Acoustic Guitar Secrets” will be every bit as valuable!
Take care, and I wish you all a warm and forndly memorable Holiday season!
Kindest regards,
Jeff

OK ya all, now gimme your ear
I gots sometin to say that I wants ya to hear
It won’t take me long so you don’t gots to worry
The words will come fast cus I’m in a real hurry
I’d love to make music but I don’t got no axe
I hope this is right I don’t mess with the facts
From what I can see this comes from Mr. Dan
We know he knows guitar he’s really the man
Now don’t get me goin and don’t get me startin
He says there’s a chance I’d be playin his Martin
Now picture this in a few years or so
I been praticin with Dan and takin it slow
My chops got unreal, my solos are sweet
The audiance wants more they sway at my feet
I now gots a deal to sell records and such
The monies so good I’m makin so much
I’m now a big star I hang with my crew
It’s all so unreal it can happen to you
You just gotta take Mr. Denleys guitar course
Practice each day let him be your main source
You heard it from me and it ain’t no jive rappin
Get in the swing get those toes tappin
It’s sometin you need it’s sometin you can afford
To make it to the top it starts with a chord
I’m 60 years old and it’s never too late
It’s all in your mind if you wants to be great

My interest in the guitar came to me by way of my sons desire to be a musician. He took lessons, practiced constantly and put together a couple of bands along the way.His dream was realized when Epitaph records signed them last year. Being a self-employed cabinet maker, I became their go to guy for guitar repairs. Through reading and kit building I’ve taught myself to build solid body electrics and will soon be taking a crack at an acoustic soon. I would love to learn to play the instruments I build with the help of amazing guitar secrets. Jeff

Well Dan, after Looking at all these people telling you all about the good things about youcourse and making all these tributes and all the good things about martin guitars, I think you could get tthe martin people to give up a few of their guitars to give away. I agree with all the things they say about your course. because I have them.I dont believe all the things they are saying aabout their reasons for there claims to get to you for a free guitar. True Martin is a fine instrument. but so is gibson for example. If you were going to give another brand I wonder how they would react I wish them and you all the luck in the world. Now put my name on the list because I like everyone else has a lot of promblems but would still like to win a free Martin

The Acoustic Guitar Secrets seems to be a great way to learn guitar, ranging from the beginner to the advanced player. I love learning from Dan, he is a great teacher and guitar player. Anyone wanting to learn guitar fast and easy should buy this excellent program. I am very excited about learning new techniques to improve my guitar playing with this new system. Dan also emails you different tips of how to improve your playing, which is also very helpful. I want to give this guitar to my 14 year old son whom would benefit greatly. He has several learning disabilities and is trying to learn on a cheap acoustic guitar but won’t stay tuned and does not sound good at all. This would make a great Christmas gift to such a special child and would surly improve his guitar skills.
Thanks you so much and Merry Christmas,
Bryan Dunn

Acoustic Guitar Secrets would be great as with all the other programs i have from the guitar secrets course. Best of all i am now able to teach my nephew how has autism. He lives with as and has seen me playing the lead secret program and would like me now to teach him. Which is great because autism kids live in there own little world and for him to want to play guitar is the best thing for him. The only problem is we only have one guitar so to win another would be great we could sit together and learn together. One thing i can tell you when acoustic guitar secrets is for sale you can put me on the list to buy one. I love all the courses and so does my autism nephew Hughie. Can not wait to get it so i can keep trying to teach myself and nephew.
Thank you for this opportunity.

I am a physically injured (retired) California Highway Patrolman who has put down the gun and picked up the Bible. I am now a Pastor of a growing church in Texas (after spending many years in Knoxville, Tennessee - so I am familiar with the beauty of your State.
It seems that preachers use 1,000’s of words to speak a sermon. Oh, but music penetrates the heart and soul of man effortlessly. I played guitar many years ago and have picked it up again.
Dan, your gift of teaching plants seeds that live on in so many of your students…even in your mistakes, you show others that you are “real.” I have learned much in a short time with your materials. It is obvious that your teaching is from the passion in your heart. You convey your love for music to all who give you eyes and ears. Keep up the good work.
If I win this guitar, it will be used in a Christian Church in worship of our Creator, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It was God who made the wood used to form it and His wisdom to man’s hands that fashioned it. His birthday celebration is coming, and so is HE. May you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May God continue to bless you in your music.

Dan I recently started taking guitar lessons at the late age of 45. I have tried three different instructors and really haven’t found the one I am comfortable with. That was until about 2 months ago when I took a chance and puchased Dan Denley’s Amazing Guitar Secrets. I’m also on the look out for the new Acoustic Program coming out. Hurry Dan bring it on. To say I am obsessed would be a drastic understatement. The course is exactly what I needed. All the guidelines, to make me want to spend more time learning the great skill of playing guitar. Will I ever become a great guitar player I’m not sure but I know if I commit to this course like I’m presently doing I sure will improve my playing. I’m presently playing a Crafter TDO 36/AM which is a pretty good sounding guitar but it is obviously not a Martin. Doesn’t everyone want a Martin guitar? I’m sure they do and I’m no exception. The Martin would be going to an excellent home not only would it be played all the time. But it would also be given regular maintenance that it justly deserves.
Sincerly: Steve Green
