It allows you to essentially shorten the fretboard. Example, if you placed your capo at the 3rd fret and played an open-E chord, you'd actually be playing a G-chord using the open-E form. Because your E string is no longer at E-pitch, it's at G. I don't teach capo in this course. And I don't teach slide. But I do cover (in depth) strumming, rhythmic patterns, fingerstyle, arpeggios, blues, country, bluegrass, folk, pop, rock, jazz, chord progressions, chord fills, chord embellishment (direct substitution), and...
