Dan, I might have to really buy this one. I haven’t bought anything else except the Amazing Guitar Secrets. Finger picking is very hard for me to put both hands together, so let us know ASAP!

Howdy Dan,
I just simply can’t wait for this course. I have the original AGS, the Blues and the Lead Guitar courses, and I play the acoustic guitar. Learning the other courses has been somewhat difficult due the differences between sounds and hardware needed on the other courses (electric vs. acoustic). But the acoustic course will definitely serve what and where I need to be.
Please keep me informed,
Mike

Hi dan, looking forward to the release of your new acoustic guitar secrets course. Your courses are a fantastic learning process not just for beginners but also for intermediate and advanced players and the cost of the information and lessons are a fraction of their real value. Maybe you could explain something in the course about the use of the capo and ‘capo-ing up’ the frets. Is this just done to suit playing in a higher key to suit a persons singing range (and playing easier chords) and are there any rules for capo-ing up rather than adjusting your chords and playing with open strings?
best regards
tony

This is great Dan,
Just seen your video announcement for “Acoustic Guitar Secrets” I had a feeling you had something was waiting in the wings when you emailed me the acoustic strumming video the other day.
I’m an acoustic player and I just wish I’d waited a bit longer for this. Then I would have purchased this course first. I already have “Amazing Guitar Secrets” and “Blues Guitar Secrets” and they are fantastic instructional value.
Oh well I’ll just have to start saving hard again. Good luck with the launch day Dan.
All the best,
Chris

Hey Dan, I haven’t bought any of you lessons yet but I would really have to get this one. I am now trying the finger picking style from a Esteban instruction DVD but I need to get the rest of the package you offer. Can’t wait for it to be relesed - keep me posted

You guys rock! Thanks for the awesome comments!
About using a capo…
Yes. It’s is basically just a way to play in a higher key (usually for the sake of the singer). It allows you to essentially shorten the fretboard. Example, if you placed your capo at the 3rd fret and played an open-E chord, you’d actually be playing a G-chord using the open-E form. Because your E string is no longer at E-pitch, it’s at G.
I don’t teach capo in this course. And I don’t teach slide. But I do cover (in depth) strumming, rhythmic patterns, fingerstyle, arpeggios, blues, country, bluegrass, folk, pop, rock, jazz, chord progressions, chord fills, chord embellishment (direct substitution), and…
Well you get the idea.
Talk to you soon!
Cheers,
Dan
