FREE, 40-Page, E-Book: “How To Solo With Pentatonic Scales”
Hey folks,
When I sent out my “What do you want to learn?” letter last month, I got soooooo many questions about scales. And because Pentatonic scales are probably the most popular (and the easiest to learn to use quickly) I thought I would just GIVE all my subscribers a copy of my book.
Keep in mind taht this is just 1 of 10 books that come with my guitar-course (not to mention the 4-hours of video, 3.5 hours of video-tutorials and the well over 100 audio files of real guitar examples).
Anyway, there are only two conditions for downloading the book:
- You must promise to actually use it!
- Please take a minute to give me your honest feedback here on the blog about the book. (Just scroll down and click the “comments” link below.)
If you find it helpful, then say so. If you don’t, I want to know why. And if you find a mistake, show me. (Actually there is at least 1 error that I know of already… can you find it?)
Now, some “gurus” wouldn’t admit they have errors in their books. But I feel like it’s better to let you know up-front that I’m not perfect (not even close). At least that way you know that I’m human, too!
Instructions for downloading the book:
Right-click on the blue-link below and choose “Save Target As…” to save a copy of the book to your hard drive. (Choose “Save Link As…” if your using FireFox).
How To Solo With Pentatonic Scales
You must have Adobe 7.0 or higher to open the book. You can download it free here.
All the best… and don’t forget to leave your comments!
Dan Denley
P.S. A lot of people have been asking about the new course coming out June 1, 2006. They want to konw what’s new, what’s different, what’s the cost, etc. But there are still many things that have to be worked out before I can give out those details.
So, I’ve set up an easy way for people to make sure they don’t miss out. You can become one of my “insiders” and you’ll get priority-notification when I release the details about the new course. There is no cost to become an “insider” and you’re guaranteed to get “first-notice” about all the details (including the special bonuses available during the first week of June).

Hey Dan
The book was interesting but I found that I already knew a lot of the the movable scales through other books I’ve bought in the past. I think you would get a lot more people interested in your course if you add video to show how to actually play the execises.
“See and hear” is a philosphy that goes a long way in learning to play an instrument and it shortens the learning curve.

Dan:
First, thanks for the book, it looks incredible.
I left the guitar when I was twelve, but my boyfriend is a huge fan of the six chords, and I downloaded the book for him.
Thanks again

The book looks pretty professionally done. I too make charts, so I appreciate a well done graphic. The techniques seem right one.

The only thing i have to complain is that I’m looking for charts of the most used Pentatonic Major Keys. There was only selected Keys in there.

Thanks alot for the e-bool. I just started learning to play the guitar about a month ago. I’m reading everything I can get my hands on. I know from highschool band how important scales are.. Everything I read helps a little. I’m sure this will help more than some of the stuff I read.

Aloha Dan,
So far I am more than impressed with the way you have put together the course and the common sense approach you teach the information with.
I’m very much looking forward to receiving the additional lessons.

Dan: I was stuck as a “competent beginner” but you have helped me to move onto the next stage. Lots of beginners stuff and lots of advanced stuff available but nothing in the middle till I found your site. Very much appreciate your help and will get your new course. Thanks again. David.

Hi Dan,
I have just downloaded your e-book, and i love it, except for the font. the font is awful to read.. if you re-issue it, please use a standard font, such as arial, helvetica or georgia, or courier which are much easier to read.
