Hi Sir (and Friends) !
I'm very-very excited about the Lead Guitar Secrets course because I had bought your earlier course (Amazing Guitar Secrets) and I must say that I firmly believe that its one of the best Guitar Learning resources available (IMHO) and I'm really happy to have learnt a lot from it.
I'm posting this comment not only to enroll myself in the contest of the Fender Guitar give away but also to express my true feeling about the upcoming lead guitar course.
If I may speak personally, its been my dream (right from my childhood) to own and more importantly to even get a chance to HOLD a Fender Strat. Its my dream Guitar and i have never even seen one ! I'm from a small town here in India, where there arent even any other people who play the Guitar and I'm totally self taught. I would definitely have bought a Fender Guitar already if I could afford one. I would be genuinely very happy if I won the give away :) Anyways all the best to everybody whos taking part :) May the most needy of us wins the Guitar :) (IMHO)
Just to introduce myself as a Guitarist, I've iuncluded the following links to my video of me playing :)

i have messed with "playing guitar" for a good 20 years or so.
real life took over and i found myself with little time or interest in playing, so my guitar sat in the corner collecting dust.
now, at 41, i am fortunate to have a job to where i have almost 8 straight hours a night to use as i see fit.
not many people can say they get paid to watch movies, read, or PLAY GUITAR... almost everynight.
ah, but the more that i play, the more that i realize i have to learn.
i've been watching dans website/vids for about 6 months and am looking forward to the release of his new course.
so, if you plan to be the next stevie ray, or just some dude who has rediscovered the joy in the art of making guitar noise... i dont think i could recommend a better learning tool.

Dan,
I just received both AmazingGuitar Secrets and the Blues course in the mail yesterday! this morning I reviewed the CD and did some finger stength training - Why I would like to win - I have always wanted to play guitar so for my 50th birthday went and bought an acoustic guitar and now I have been trying to play for 6 months - I think your course is going to be soooo helpful - and if I had on of these very cool fender strats I could amaze my friends (and neighboors) with my new found skills - wow rocking out, playing lead on a fender strat - I can't think of anything that would be cooler!
Thanks for listening, your lessons are going to help me rock.

I believe that I will learn so many fantastic ways through "Lead Guitar Secrets" to improve my guitar playing.
The Finger strength training for speed and accuracy is a definite must for all players, new and old, and the 50 must-know solo licks will hopefully bring my solo playing to a professional level.
The In-depth study of scale-chord relationships (how to choose the right scale for your solo), will improve my knowledge tremendously, so i will be able to go on stage and "wow" whoever is listening.
The How & when to use the seven modes of the major scale, will be a "MUST" to improve the tricky scenarios of what chord to play and also, how to expand on the mundane tabs.
I cant wait to learn the solo techniques: bends, vibrato, hammer-ons, pull-offs and creating runs will have me playing like a star - Jimi Hendrix, eat your heart out!!!!
I have been using all of your previous lessons, and already I can see a difference in my playing. I believe these new ones will push me to being closer to a proffessional.
I recommend you to all of my friends and they love it.

I am excited about the Lead Guitar Secrets because it will teach me to use different modes of scales, solo techinques and other training tips.
It will not only give me tips but it cna help me how to develop more my guitar skills.
With this, I may, one day, play a lot of lead parts and I hope and plan that one day I can transpose a lot of classical musics, the works of Mozart and the like, and create a new version of it. Just like the rock version of Canon in D.
Lastly, for those of you who are reading this, I bet that nobody can tell me any book about guitar lessons which can surpass the Lead Guitar Secrets!!!
More power and thanks for the tips!

Oh, the guitar... Wire and wood, soul and body, harmony and feeling...
Some of the greatest musical compositions of the past century have been brought to life from the careful, meticulous passion of an artist plucking and bending strings. I would love to be a part of this musical world... if only I could play the guitar!
Ok, ok, so I can play a little bit of the guitar... A scale or two, a chord or two, and some bizarre terminology that doesn't really help a beginning guitarist, such as myself (like fret board slapping... what?).
I attribute this odd source of knowledge I have to my various guitar teachers. Perhaps I am just difficult to teach, but I think I've been dealt a bunch of poor teachers.
My first teacher explained to me that the strings of a guitar (e,b,g,d,a,e) were actually c,d,e,f,g,a. This being my first lesson and having some piano background, I understood that this made sense (why wouldn't you have a clean scale for your guitar strings? lol...). Then I was browsing online for tabs and saw the REAL assembly of the strings and corresponding notes and asked my teacher, "Which is right?" He simply said that you can't believe everything you read on the internet and said that maybe e,b,g,d,a,e was some weird alternate tuning, but just maybe, and that he would do some research. Hah... he lasted about two lessons.
My second teacher wasn't as bad, but he charged me $40 a lesson for 45 minutes and spent about 30 minutes just playing for me and not actually teaching me how to play. I like to learn and saw that there wasn't much learning to be found here.
Understand that I live in a small town with very few teachers of any kind. I don't want to invest any more money in an unpredictable lesson, so where can I turn to next?
Lead guitar secrets! I know some werid things about guitar and a few basic ideas in theory... so I can sort of talk the talk, but I really, really want to walk the walk. I know that learning the guitar takes time, practice and discipline, and I am positive that I can really focus and make some great compositions myself.
I'd also like to note (no pun intended) that my one and only guitar is a fender squier strat with frets hanging on by threads, so the real prize Fender strat will help me actually play something that one can listen to and Lead Guitar Secrets will help me bring to life the sweet music and max the potential a guitar has to offer.
I really hope to win the guitar and am looking forward to the release of Lead Guitar Secrets. Thanks for your time and consideration,

Let's face it. I'm stuck! Dan, I've spent over a thousand dollars on every guitar course on the internet that I could get my hands on. Although I've had some improvement here and there, nothing has taken me to the place I want to be. I wanna play lead rock guitar.
Rythm guitar is fine, but I need to improve my finger strength for speed and accuracy.
I still haven't figured how how to choose the right scale for my solos.
Sure, I know seven modes of the major scale, but how and when do I use them?
I also need help putting it all together using bends, vibrato, hammer-ons, pull-offs, and creating runs.
I truly believe this will be the last Guitar Course I will need to buy. Amazing Guitar Secrets has given me the foundation, now Lead Guitar Secrets will give me the rest. This is what I've been waiting for. I'm ready for it Dan. Bring it on!

As i grew up many things had changed..as i enter my adolescence stage..I felt that my life was miserable. The girl i loved dumped me, losing all the hope and encouragement to live.
That time i was all alone in my room thinking of many things. I'm alone in our house because I'm studying for the scholarship they granted. That night i tried to commit suicide..
Then the time i tied my rope beyond my neck, I unconsciously pushed my old guitar from my behind.
I tried to catch my beloved guitar. But I don't know why. I realized all the time we've spent together. All the songs we've sang, all the hymns that i plucked.
I tried to not to continue it anymore, putting all the emotions on my composition.
I sat down relaxed, amazingly lyrics come out of my mind.
I want your guitar because when the time comes, and feeling lonely. I'll be just picking out the guitar and drew out all of my emotions to songs.

ive heard of how amazing this course is supposed to be and i personally belive it as any comment i have read is 100% positive! therfore i am eagerly awaiting the release of the new book which i am planning on buying or possibly my friend and i will share a copy. really i would like to see about scale-chord relationships and some solo techniques but not in order to learn other guitarists music, rather i would like to expand on my own style of music which is not the general rock or acoustic but i am experimenting with new sounds and hopefully this coming book will be able to improve my playing and give me new ideas for my own music.
a clear bonus would be win the fender strat guitar especially as i dont have one! at present i have a louden acoustic, a santo-martinez classical guitar and a rather cheap " vintage" les paul style guitar with not a great sound when recording so a good quality strat is right up my alley in terms of a new guitar that i need!
i have a good knowledge of scales and good finger strength and stamina as well as speed and acuracy as my classical guitar playing requests fast fingerstyle playing with large spreads and jumps )this is grade 7 classical guitar). hope to hear from you and thanks for giving me this chance!

I have to tell everyone how excited I am that I started using Dan's amazing lessons.
Two weeks ago I threw away a big pile of guitar books and DVDs that were just not producing success. Since I was not progressing, I stopped seeing my seventh guitar teacher too.
Now I have been blessed with the good fortune of studying with the first person I have seen who can actually explain how to play the guitar and have fun with it.
After one week of using Dan Denley's Blues Guitar Secrets I actually played the 12 bar blues with a group ( I can play it four different ways now!) and when they said I played good, I threw in a riff from the pentatonic blues scale. This course is unbelievable!
I have seen clips of Lead Guitar Secrets and I am now confident that I will soon be playing lead guitar and enjoying the experience.
Thank you so much for giving me this gift!
P.S. My old guitar is not good enough for my new playing skills. I wish someone would run a contest where I could win a nice Fender Strat.
I have to get back to the Gm7.
Thanks Again,

Hi Dan and fellow guitar player enthusiasts,
I am humbled by your approach, Dan, of teaching guitar. I once thought I would ever be able to play some lead guitar let alone create leads, but with your first course "Amazing Guitar Secrets" it has unlocked my potential. I'm still no expert but you have shown me the light. Although I haven't mastered everything in your course I surely have grown. I love to play, create, and record guitar music, but feel a bit trapped in my style. You can listen to some of my works from the past year here...
http://www.sonomawireworks.com/riffcaster/index.php?artist=bludwitzke@gmail.com
I need your new "Lead Guitar Secrets" course to unlock my true potential. I know your new course won't let me down. Dan you are a well respected guitar teach with the plenitude of guitar knowledge that I desire. Free me from my ineptitude of guitar playing.
Rock On!

Here is my comment (all the way from the Netherlands) on Dan's course.
Currently I am still working through the courses Amazing guitar secrets and the Blues course. I am almost sure that this Lead course is of the same high quality and in-depth informative on guitar theory and playing practice that it will become a success for both buyer and seller.
I will keep it in mind as an absolute future buy, as soon as I finish the other two courses.
Dan, keep on the good work in creating these excellent courses !!
Thanks again, and if necessary I will pay the shipping for the Stratocaster (Laughing out Loud)

I have learned guitar secrets from Dan over the past few years, and I have always suggested having a lead guitar secrets type of learning, because, I have been playing guitar for over 45 years, and learning all the other stuff was nice, but didn't give me the knowledge of lead guitar I needed...NOW I CAN LEARN IT!! Dan YOU ARE THE GREATEST!!!!

Dan, your courses are extremely helpful and have made my job as a teacher easier. Students have an array of learning differences and your course is another tool I have used in conveying somewhat difficult concepts and theory in a way that is to the point and easy to understand. Your approach is very user freindly without being too "fluffy". Thanks for doing a great job while keeping your cost affordable too. I'm sure your next release will be super!!!
Cheers to you,

Hi! as you will note after reading the following lines many of you will soon realize that am not an English´s nature speaking guy. My mother´s tongue is the Spanish language. What have it to do with Dan´s method and this? Dan is so clear and direct when teaching that I all I got to do is pull up my guitar and listen and watch him. To be honest, I´m also improving my English listening quite a lot too! I´ve played guitar by ear all of my lige, am 51 now, and since I moved to Spain I realize I could still have the time to form a blues band, at my age! I´ve met some English people over here, one plays the drum there is a bassist and me playing acoustic and electric guitar plus my harmonica. But, here is the "but" None of are are professional, and I am not the best guitar player, so far from that, yet a can play rithmically, that´s is all I can do. So to speak, we play some folk rock songs, and the harmonica fills the gap in my improvisations. I´d like to accurate my palying style, to be able of play a bit harder on my electric guitar and play those licks I´ve ever wanted to do...That is how Dan would help me to improve myself on the guitar, and instrument I deeply love. Cheers to you all, guitar lovers, from Torrevieja, Spain.

Hey dan, whats up.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge of Lead, Rythm, and the occasional acoustic guitar. Im 14 and live in Plymouth in the UK. Im sure its not surprising that youre getting a load of entries for this, but in fairness it is a guitar!
But. Ohh no. Just like, ANY guitar. Its a guitar, that you have bought. And in a way, a gift. And to be honest, I dont think there are any of your subscribers who would say no to a gift from their tutor. I know Im definately not going to.
Since Im quite one, I havent been able to buy your online tutorials, but have still made the most out of your free tips. They help alot. Im more of a rythm guitar person, but learning solos would just make me feel inwardly accomplished.
Im sure you know the feeling of listening to someone playing guitar at an insane speed to your favourite song, and you're sitting there thinking; 'When the feck am I gonna be able to be that guy and have some kid watching me play and thinking 'wow, that sounds pretty sweet''
Well in honesty, you have probably helped me get closer to that. So yeah, heck, the guitar would be awesome but still, the thought of you just readin this, is good enough for me :]
& whoever does get it in the end, dont let it go dusty ;]

Ever take lessons in person? EXPENSIVE! And, most of what you learned, you FORGET once you walk out the door! Now... for less than the cost of a few lessons, Dan's course will give the equivalent of a YEAR OR MORE of private, weekly lessons. And you can REVIEW anything, anytime, anywhere. Ever try to call your teacher at midnight to ask how that Santana solo to Smooth went again? "Forget about it!"
So let's review. A year's worth of weekly, private lesons, of which you may retain about half of what you learn = $2,000. Versus Dan's Lead Guitar Secrets course, of which you will have 24/7/365 access = PRICELESS! That's got to be the biggest no-brainer in the history of mankind, or at least since guitars were invented.
Lead on, Dan...

I finally almost gave up hope, untill I found amazing guitar secrets. it blew my mind. every course I could get my hands on I jumped onto. nothing went by me, I made sure I got it all. it was amazing how this site helped me so much, I went from nothing to something in a matter of weeks. now I'm waiting for the latest courses so I can get them. I'm now in a band, and I can play anything they through at me. its all thanks to amazing guitar secrets

I am excited about Lead Guitar Secrets. I have been playing guitar now for over five years and I have always been confined to rhythm guitar work. Simple chords and riffs....and not a whole lot of fun. However, when I first discovered Dan Denley's videos and helpful hints about learning the art (and I mean that in every sense of the word) of lead guitar, I finally had the confidence to start soloing and eventually I got in with a band as a lead guitarist and it was one of the best feelings I have ever had. To look out from that stage as I am pounding out this face-melter of a solo and seeing all of those people's eyes staring right at me and knowing that they were enjoying something that I was creating....that was the greatest feeling I have ever felt.
So keep on cranking these videos and books and oh so helpful tips out Dan, cause I think I can speak for guitarists everywhere that have been touched by your expertice and your raw talent, that Lead Guitar Secrets is going to help even more people do what you have already inspired us to do.
Thanks Dan, keep em coming.

Dan,
I have been playing guitar for over 20 years. I have spent thousands on lessons, books and videos. I have also made quite an investment on web based courses. Even with all of this I still am a novice player. I know off of my scale positions in the Major and Minor keys, blues as well. I just don't know how to put it all together. I can play scales like a madman but I still don't know how to play a complete song with a lead pattern. I know a few licks but they are very basic. Whenever I play a song everyone says " What song was that". They can't tell what song it is I am trying to play. This is very discouraging.
I am hoping this new course will show me how to tie everything together. Rhythm, leads, licks, scales, advanced techinques, etc.
Thank You and God Bless.
Ben.

Hey Dan (& Friends ;D),
Have you guys ever felt this tingling sensation inside whenever you listen to an amazing song? Yeah, I know we probably all have, and that's why we're learning to play the guitar :P.
Lead Guitar Secrets is what I've been waiting to come for a long, long time... It will teach me all that I have yet to learn, and help me improve in what I already know. I know it. That's how all your lessons have taught me. It's exciting just to know that I'll learn something new that will take me to the next level... and at the same time, make me a better member of my band. The feeling is hard to describe... after, all feelings are meant to be felt.
Your new lesson, like all your lessons, will teach me in all areas of guitar skill as a lead guitarrist. Speed, scales-the essential-and all techniques to grow into an advanced player. I can see myself becoming a legend, hahahaha!
Keep it up! This is why we love you so much :).

My name is Robert. I became interested in the guitar when I attended college in the late sixties. I couldn't afford a guitar but found an old used one for $15 at a local guitar store. I tried to learn from a guy in college but he said I didn't have any rhythm. My room-mate said I couldn't hold a tune in a tin bucket. My relatives told me to find another hobby because I was no good at this one. I became very discouraged and gave up the guitar for good knowing I'd never make it. Now in my fifties I have become interested again. Thinking what everyone told me I almost gave up before I started. I tried books, cds, and videos but couldn't quite get there and decided the guitar was not for me and gave up. A while later I was on the internet just messing around and happened onto Dan's website by accident... or was it an accident. So I decided to give the guitar one last try by purchasing Dan's Amazing Guitar Course. After the first video, I knew I had found the real deal. Dan's easy going style and excellent teaching method sealed my fate. I realized everyone was wrong about my inability to learn the guitar. I have learned tons of chords, the major scales, part of the minor and blues scales. I do have rhythm, I,m not tone death, I can learn. I am also learning to read music. At first I learned House of the Rising Sun, Greensleeves, and A Horse with No Name and have started learning finger picking. And even barre chords. So excited, I purchased Dan's Blues Courses. I don't want to play the blues or finger picking or rock or jazz or solo on the lead guitar. I want to do them all, a well rounded guitar player. I learned the guitar, learned the blues-all from Dan Denley. And I surely will purchase Dan's Leads Course. Even if he wasn't giving away a Strat guitar, I would still purchase his leads course. He's the best teacher I have seen and I plan on sticking with him. He brought me from a loser who shouldn't even hold a guitar to a guitar player who and will be a well rounded guitar playing winner. Don't listen to all the negative comments, just grad Dan's courses-all of them- and become a guitar player. You can do it. Dan will guide you all the way. Thanks Dan

I think this will help me reach the playing level that I want, and it will be able to help me teach my girlfriend how to play the guitar, and then offer to teach other people how to play the guitar. your videos on writting songs on youtube really helped me. I myself have trouble learning songs on my acoustic because I believe if i work hard enough to perfect it on the acoustic i can play it even better on the electric, when you cant reverse that. i was taught "Dont Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult" on the electric and it took me hours to get it down on my acoustic. in otherwords im a firm believer that learning on the acoustic is the best way to learn, and then playing songs that i've learned on the electric after perfecting them.

Bringing down the house!!! Sending my neighbors running for the hills as my guitar sings the glory of rock at high pitch. Actually being able to use my new Strat to follow all of the lessons that Dan has to teach me in his new course.
After many years of laying off on the guitar, I have recently come back to it and can really use a course to help me achieve some of the things I want to do, such as being able to work all up and down the fretboard, and being able to master the speed to play some of my favorite music from metallica, Disturbed and Static-X.
I think that Dan is the guy who can help me to achieve this, and more (suck-up-YEAH!!!). And with that sweet new Fender Strat in my hands...Life is goooooood!!!!!

hey there, im alfie, and im 18. I am devestated...i have just had to sell my '62 strat ='( i cried a lot =[...this was because i need money to go to university this fall. I now have to play a crappy spanish guitar, to the laughter of all my m8s...i also got chucked out of my band cos of the apparent "lack of commitment" [selling my guitar...so i had to borrow my m8s...he didnt like it when i broke it]
The highway one series is literally the perfect guitar for me, its versatility and sound fit me perfectly...i remember playing one in a guitar shop a few weeks back and it felt amazing...even better than the '62 strat...Dan i would literally marry you if you gave me this guitar [probably not encouraging you to let me win.....so i am gonna suck up all i possibly can] XD
The lead guitar secrets course will make me into such a good player i know because dan is simply amazing ../his previous courses have literally taught me everything i know on guitar now!! and iv been playing for ten years!! one month with the blues guitar secrets course was better than 4 years with a teacher!!
Dan is an amazing guitarist...i know this course is going to teach me even more and is going to stretch my guitar playing to ever further lengths so i can show the dicks from my old band who is the best when im playing at wembley [ok ...maybe i dream] haha
so yes...basically...XD

I took lessons for over a year and felt like I was never going to get any better, I eventually stopped taking lessons and just trying to teach myself once in a while. Then one day I ended up on your Amazing Guitar Secrets page, a few days later I bought it. After using your course I am better than I thought possible. Now that I'm better, I want to get even better, and I think your new course will take me to the next level of playing. Almost every minute of my free time is spent playing guitar. When I'm not playing I feel like I'm wasting my time. I know you can help more than any lessons could and your course is far less money and a far greater value. Your email videos and YouTube songwriting lessons helped out a lot, minutes after watching some videos I had new parts to a song I've been working on for weeks. Keep up the good work, can't wait for the course. I have no doubt this Lead Guitar Secrets will go beyond my greatest expectations. Take care, and by the way what kind of guitar is that orange one you always play in videos?

Hello Dan, let me just start off and say how much your videos inspired me to improve my playing and technique. I really appreciate you doing this.
I'm a struggling student here in Hawaii with a broken life. I'm distant from my family and everyone I knew pretty much left me in the dust. Trying to find a job with a steady pay isn't the easiest things to do here either.
I'm sorry for sounding like an attention seeker right now, but please, read on.
With life giving me the most hits at the time, It's pretty difficult coping with life. At times, I felt that nothing could help relieve the pain I had inside. Well, before I left the home, a relative of mine told me to maybe...develop a hobby, an instrument even...
Sudden thoughts of this went into my mind and I thought that this could keep my mind off of the things that were bothering me for a while.
Thinking back, I remembered how inspired I was from my favorite guitarists; Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Eric Johnson, BB King. I settled on learning the guitar.
A really close friend of mine gave me his squier starter pack. It isn't the best thing in the world, but I compromised and made it do.
Searching up lessons wasn't too easy for me either, I went through many different types of sites giving off mediocre advice and tips. More and more I went through until I hit your lesson site, Dan! I thought it was a bit gippy at first, but I went through and gave you my email address.
After several videos, I could feel my love and passion for music arising. I could now play all of those classic riffs and solos I've been itching to play ever since I was younger!
Everyday, I yearn to reach higher goals in my playing; learning about theory, techniques, etc. Your videos just do that!
So I say again, THANK YOU for setting me off into the beautiful world of guitar!!!
I'm extremely excited for your new "Lead Guitar Secrets" video! I'm already trying to save up for it.
I trust you in what you do, Dan. I'm really excited in pushing my limits with my skills.
Thank you so much for reading, dan. I hope you have a good one.

i am ridiculously excited about this lesson because i can FINALLY get over this finger stubbornness that ive developed while trying to learn to be a guitar master like Dan. I went from being able to play chopsticks on the guitar to actually being able to play riffs and chords. I've actually started a band and we're playing alot of local gigs, unfortunatly without Dan's help id still be sittin at home playing blah blah blah and wishing i could find what i needed to become motivated and excited about playing the way i really want to. On top of it all if i were to receive a top notch guitar like this instead of having to play what i can afford im sure my skills would skyrocket. Everyone that knows me knows that i learned all my basics and some of the further beyond from this website. So once again win or lose i still want the word on this amazing site to be worldwide known.
Thank you very much Dan for this opportunity.

Hello,
My name is Tim, and like so many of you reading this I have an artist inside screaming to be released. I write, and I play drums. Now my focus has turned to the guitar in a big way.
AmazingGuitarSecrets is the way to go if your sick of looking for music with the chords you know in the song. I want more out of myself, like many of you I have strokes of musical genuis from time to time but i don't know how to let them out. That's why I'm ecstatic about the release of Lead Guitar secrets.
Life is too short not to follow your dreams. If you dream it you can make it happen, and that's what I believe Lead Guitar Secrets is, a dream catcher.
Peace all,

I am so greatly excited for Dan’s new Lead Guitar Secrets course! I believe music is one of the best gifts a person could give. Finally, I not only have a broader understanding of the guitar but I can share my enthusiasm with others. I’ve seen so many people that have wanted to learn guitar but they don’t know where to go or how to teach them selves so they just want to give up and let it collect dust. I was there once until I found Dan's amazing guitar secrets course, it cleared so many confusing issues up and questions I had. I couldn’t afford lessons any more and what my teacher was teaching just wasn’t working! So I thought hey ill try this out! I am so glad I did! Dan hits all the important details and doesn’t leave them missing! Now I am so eager to learn what he has to teach me next! Dan has been so generous to share his knowledge with others. I really cant believe he’s about to share more! Before this course I’m not sure if I would still be as dedicated as I am today. I can finally see a future for my self in guitar! I also love how Dan cares about his students he keeps coming up with amazing new courses and he doesn’t just leave you hanging. He’s not afraid to share what he knows! I can’t wait until I can go any where on the fret board and say what I want to say through it. I will be able to let others hear what I feel when I play. I’m also positive my band will appreciate my new abilities and understanding. I am not the best at guitar but giving up is not an option. I hope some day I can share what I know with others and help them as much as Dan has helped me! I want to learn all I can about guitar, it’s my passion and this new lead guitar secrets course will be another big stepping stone on my journey.
Thank you for everything you have done!

Dan:
I am probably much different than your average member. I am turning 50 and just picked up the guitar for the first time. My heart is blues and I have your Blues Secrets. And much as you said in your guitar secrets, IT'S WORK! I have an acoustic and I like the sound but it's still not like you when you are playing! :) I have reviewed your lead guitar secrets and it looks like this is what ties it all together. I really like where you show how to cross from one pentatonic to the next! I have found I can do this all the way down! I may not get there as quickly as most of your students but if you keep teaching I will keep learning!
Thanks! Mike

For years, I mean years, my guitar, that I have wanted forever, has been sitting in the bag with books, tuner and extra strings, just waiting for me to get up the nerve to play it. Or the time, with two kids under the age of three I am very busy.
Thanks to Dan, I have now began to play. I am so truly excited about Lead Guitar Secrets Course so that I can move a head further in my playing. I have a dream of performing and am always selfconscienous about what others think. My vocals are growing and developing everyday and I know that this new course will do the same for my playing!
My dad's Friend had some great words of advice on my 16th birthday card
"Never be afraid to Jam!"
How wicked would it be to win a
U.S. Fender Strat to Jam with. I know I would definately get improve my playing with Dan's Lead Guitar Secrets and that SWEET GUITAR!

hi sir;
ever since i was 7 (currently 16) i've always wanted to learn how to play the guitar, i have grown up listening to the likes of slash, jimmy page, hendrix and joe perry so my mainintrest is playing the blues.
i've recently been attempting the outro slolo from guns and roses november rain, at the begging my fingers werent moving quick enough so by using the finger strengthening techniques, i am now nearly accomplished on the solo, i have a band and really it ain't impressive, now that i've been using d.d's tips, i can pretty much hold the team together.
i own a fender strat copy (sunburst) and i heard better music coming from a tortured cat than i did from my guitar :S and i would really like to win one as i am now saving up for a really big amplifier seeing as 10watts aint really loud,
much ur fan,

but since I tried your cource everything went better for me, I feel more confident with a gitar in my hands and I made some good friends by simply stunning them while playing on my guitar!
my new friends, yorrick, albert and niels are all pretty good guitarists, but in some styles, I simply am better because of your course!
Thank you for giving my life more purpose!

Hi dan,
I used to play the guitar in a duo when I was 16 years old and only new 4 or 5 chords and about 6 songs. We used to just play for fun and friends.
I moved to South Africa about 25 years ago and never had the inclination to play again even though I’ve still got my acoustic guitar from those days, but now have a pickup on it.
I am now 62 years old but recently I was asked to join a band of older members to play at various venues for the aged etc.
I’ve been following your online tutorials and have picked up a lot of things that improved my playing abilities so I am looking forward to your new course ( Lead guitar secrets) because the things I’ve learnt from you give the people we play to so much enjoyment, especially when we play the older 60s and 70s numbers.
So keep up the good work of inspiring and motivating people to learn to play properly.
Thank You

Dear fellow musicians,
This is Andy, a 19 year old sophmore music major at Berea College. As many of us know, money-in-abundance is not possible, and a hard-earned luxury, working the summer vacation away at a fast food joint, struggling to save up enough to pay each semester's term bill.
When it comes to music as a hobby, it is my highest priority, skimping every leftover penny towards music CDs/instructional books and other "not as good as a US strat" gear for inspiration. Nice gear is great, but having the best guitar in the world will do no good if you can't play it, having nobody to look up to and be inspired by. (though the US strat. is still to die for) In support for the music, the luxury of a car and my own residence is not an option, and are financial priorities that come after the guitar and music. (live in parents' house)
Not having time/money for lessons/superior gear, I practice in my spare time with and old Kay classical nylon string my mom had since she was a kid and have come a long way with perseverance from surfing the internet and from absorbing the music classes, and observing other musicians.
I did manage to borrow some gear from a friend and record these here (some of it pretty old from high school):

With the lack of decent instruction I have received, I'm surprised I can even play that well. I need to perfect my skill with your course. I want to learn jazz. In my opinion, it is the most difficult genre and I can't play a lick of it. I want to learn how the jazz chords work, and how to access them on the fretboard, and how they are used. Thank you all very much. Your support for spreading the word of guitar instruction at this price is something special, and greatly appreciated.

Hi.
I am 14 years old and I'm very exited about getting better at guitar. I was awe inspired by some of the Guitar Gods, and my dad. Ever since I have been playing guitar like none other. I want to learn everything I possibly can to become a better guitar player. Like chord changing for instance. I can never get C for some reason. and I still have a lot of chords to learn. I want to know enough to make some of my own stuff.
I love some of the priceless intros like Wish you were here by Pink Floyd, Sweet Child o Mine, by Guns n' Roses, Sunshine of your love by Cream, and many more. With your program, I feel like I could follow in their footsteps.
thanks,

Hey,
This is Bobby Sosaya and I just started out playing guitar. I began taking lessons this year but I quite because I didn't feel like I was learning much. So now I am just here with my guitar and nothing much. I am starting to use many of the tools available here and feel better about guitar playing. I've always wanted a guitar ever since I was 3 and now that I have an electric guitar it is not much, it always breaks my strings and the body of the guitar is in really sad shape, I got this guitar free because some guy just didn't want it. So I see this amazing Strat and it could be anybodies and I love it because many of my guitar role models use the Strat. If I could have a guitar that I could master easier than mine and rip through songs like all those guitar gods then I would love it. It would also make me very confident about playing in front of people, 'cause I'm not confident now at all. So I wish to be able to go on a stage with a great guitar and wow people and make them feel my soul through my playing and put all my heart into guitar because its not all about being famous and getting it all, its all about putting your heart into playing and being the music like a real guitar god.

Why am I excited about Lead Guitar secrets? First of all, it has always been my dream to learn how to play guitar and jam like a rock star. Since I was a kid, I use to see these rock stars on stage jamming and vibing on their guitar and I wished someday that could be playing like them. It would be great some day if i can play like them and i think the lead guitar secrets will do the trick. From the tremolos, hammer-ons, pull-offs, and the exciting techniques which gives color and flavor to guitar playing.

Hi Dan,
Just ordered your amazing guitar secrets gold.I am hoping that your course can get me past this stage of not knowing how to put what I know together so I can play with other people.I keep losing interest and feel like I am always starting over again.I don't own a electric giutar and don't know anything about them. Sure would be nice to learn. I just hope that I am not too old to learn all the stuff I would like to know about playing a guitar. Thank you.

By Jorrit, at July 06, 2007
Hi, I've been playing guitar since late 1998, and all I could ever play was rythym. I've always liked the lead runs & riffs, to me that's the real character of the song. I'm excited about the new tools that will be at my disposal, because I've already used Dan's methods and I got better faster than the lessons I was getting. I think it will make me even better by giving me the speed and accuracy and teach me more of the musical theroy that I need to play like the gods of guitar. Plus I'm overjoyed that I could be one of the ones to receive a Fender Strat, I LOVE Fender!! Right now I play a Strat copy made by Kasino, it's a great guitar, but it's a little hard to play, my dad has a Fender Strat and he let me play it once. The tone and the action of the guitar made me better, it was easier to play and chord than mine. I can't afford a Fender though, with all of my debt and other bills a Fender is too far out of reach for me. So it would be great to receive one. With a fender guitar and Dan Denley's methods I know that I can become a guitar god myself and join the ranks of Carlos Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Chuck Berry, just to name a few. Talk to ya'll later.

HI DAN, I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR OFFERS. I WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I AM A BEGINNER AT ALL OF THIS, SO BE PATIENT. AS I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO PLAY A GUITAR, BUT IT IS MY DESIRE TO COMPLETE THIS. I FIND IT VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND A PERSON LIKE YOURSELF, TO TEACH A PERSON TO PLAY A GUITAR, FROM THE BEGINNING. I am excited about Dan's new course. I am sure this new course will augment his previous course "Amazing Guitar Secrets" (a course which I have not quite completed yet--it has been informative and enjoyable).
I have examined other potential courses online. I find that Dan's approach to teaching is more detailed and is communicated better than the others I have seen.
Dan's video demonstrations of chords, scales and licks are very well done. Dan seems to understand the nature of teaching and he is effective in how he teaches. The other courses I have seen seem a little too complicated and advanced. The videos produced by these other guitar teachers are not as good as Dan's productions. These other videos are not communicated too well from what I have experienced and/or in some cases too difficult to work with. Dan's approach makes it easy to learn how to play the guitar. His videos are easy to work with which for me, in terms of learning, is very key.
I also note that since the his last course, Dan has gained a lot more knowledge in terms of computer technology and therefore I am expecting even better video productions and online lessons. I can tell that technically things have improved because of the recent quality video e-mails Dan has been sending me.
His follow up to his courses is great too. Dan e-mails reminders of certain things and he also e-mails other video lessons as supplements to his course.
He just does not sell his course and then leave it up to you. Dan engages in the entire learning process even after you have purchased the course. He allows you to have feedback with him to see how you are doing. Such service is great in terms of support because there are always questions that need to be answered as you go through the course. Dan responds to your needs.
Dan has made me fall in love with my guitar again. I played when I was younger and I now I have returned to playing the guitar again at age 46. I have a goal to become a some what accomplished guitar player by the time I retire(at age 55). I want to enjoy playing my guitar during my retirement and hopefully find some fellow retirees to play in a fun band. This is a goal of mine.
I will be using Dan as my teacher to get me there.
Dan has inspired me to bring music back into my life. Whenever I play my guitar at home, I find it relaxing and enjoyable. Music and the guitar has enhanced my quality and enjoyment of life.
Music and playing an instrument is part of our creativity. Music stimulates the right brain which we use very little of. Creativity and music in particular helps to balance out the right and left brain usage. When our brain becomes more balanced, we are more happy, peaceful and loving as individuals--we tend to enjoy life more rather than struggling with it.
So, I am looking forward to continue having Dan as my guitar teacher. I am looking forward to having Dan help me reach my goal.
This is what a good teacher will do for a student, and Dan is that teacher.

I have been playing guitar for a very long time. I had taken lessons when I was 10 or 11, and found it very boring. I play guitar by ear I watch what you show on your videos and I follow you, and within an hour I'm learning something new and you sir, have showed me allot of neat guitar playing that I love. I wish I would of taken more guitar lessons when I got older, but decided to learn on my own.
I have found your site to be very educational for young guitar players, and that is a great thing you are doing, sharing all your degrees and experience. Thank again for the lessons

As to why & how Lead Guitar Secrets can help me......I have wanted to play guitar since I was little because my Dad does and I loved listening to him play "House of the Rising Sun" & rhythm tunes he would make up.
I started learning guitar about 2 years ago when I was 14 and discovered Dire Straits, Iron Maiden & Slash amongst others, I have taught myself to play rhythm and some lead riffs and fills but what I would love to be able to do is make up my own solos, riffs etc, and for this, I'm going to need some help.
It is inspiring to watch and listen to someone playing lead guitar and I know that they are not just "playing what they feel" or "making it up" but have learnt all the scales, modes, solo techniques etc....I would like to learn everything about playing lead so I too, can be that "someone" who inspires others to pick up a guitar and learn to play.
I currently own a Westfield 12 string acoustic that I bought from ebay, and I use my Dad's Epiphone SG which is lovely to play and has been set up very well but, it isn't mine and it isn't a Fender Stratocastor, so I would love to win one but at the end of the day a Fender Strat isn't going to make me play any better (although it might make the noise sound nicer) only practise, patience and a good teacher can do that.
So if Lead Guitar Secrets is as good as it seems then I will be able to achieve my dream and that would be good enough for me.
Thanks again for all your help.
All the Best

Dan, I have been subscribed to your online newsletter for about a year now(or more haha)and that in and of itself has improved my fingering and overall strength of my hands. your patient and relaxed teaching style is helpful to me in and of itself^-^. I love the guitar and I know that with this course I will be able to accomplish anything!!I am sure that it will improve my playing in EVERY WAY(because I am obviously not as good as dan, i am only 18 afterall haha). We appreciate you dan (not for this giveaway but for the fact that you have put so much work into teaching us aspiring guitarists what you know!)and I don't regret anything about subscribing to your free online newsletter so far. Actually i do regret one thing...the fact that i don't have enough money to buy your course! haha^-^ Thanks for everything dan!!!!!!!

I suppose that the stock answer as to why anyone would want to learn lead guitar secrets AND win a 'Strat is just this: To pick up chicks.
But I'm afraid that at my age that ship has already sailed - or sunk, as the case may be.
No worries, that means that I can play simply for my own pleasure, which is why anyone should play the guitar. I've spent the last few years learning and have come to really enjoy relaxing after work and on weekends with a guitar in my hands. I've worked on chords, strum patterns, and even some picking, but leads still elude me. So Dan, if you've got the secrets I'm all ears. Well, and fingers.
I've discovered that there is no such thing as too many guitars and there is always room for one more. Particularly if it has the name "Fender" on the headstock.
Don't worry about shipping it - I'll come pick it up.

I've wanted to play guitar since I was a little kid. I used to sit and think for long periods at at time about playing an amazing solo and impressing my family and friends. Finally, about a year ago, I decided to act on my desires and get a guitar. I looked for a while for something that I could afford. Price was certainly a big factor in my purchase. Finally, I found what looked like a great deal. It was a guitar pack that included a guitar, amp, cable, strap, and picks, for only $100. However, I realized pretty quickly that the price was too good to be true. The amplifier wasn't too bad, but the guitar was truly awful. It constantly goes out of tune, there's a lot of fret buzz, and some notes don't even sound correctly. The action is already all the way up, and because it is so high, it hurts my fingers and I get bad, burning wrist pains after playing for a while.
Nevertheless, I still have managed to learn how to play chords and simpler songs, and I have learned some theory to understand basic scales and how the fretboard works. Lead Guitar Secrets looks like the perfect learning tool to help me to progress onto the next level. Some of my friends play guitar, and listening to them improvise solos just makes me want to learn how to solo well even more. With the help of Lead Guitar Secrets, I think I can learn the necessary skills and theory to do exactly that. I watched some of the sample videos and Dan Dentley explains everything very clearly, in a manner that I can understand. So, I'm excited about Lead Guitar Secrets because I think it will really help me to play great-sounding solos. How? Well, judging from the videos, Dan shows you the theory that you need to know to be able to play great solos. You need to really understand how the fretboard works, and how you can move between the various positions. Dan teaches you all of this in the course. You also need to know some catchy licks to play over these scales, and Dan shows you those too in this course. I think that this course is probably the most comprehensive learning tool out on the market today, and that's why I'm so excited about it. It shows you EXACTLY what you need to understand to be able to play lead guitar, and that's exactly what I've been dying to do since I was a little kid.
However, the problems with my guitar still exist. I have played a Fender Strat in a guitar store, and I was amazed at how much smoother it plays, and how much better it sounds. For once, I could play without getting bad wrist pains from action that is too high. It was so easy to play that it has become my dream guitar. However, it will remain only a dream guitar unless I win this contest, as I simply cannot afford one. I even wonder if it would be possible to play decent solos on the guitar I have now, when I struggle to push down the strings to play simple chords. Winning this contest would be a dream come true for me, as I would finally have a good guitar, which would make me one step closer to being able to fufill my childhood dream of playing awesome solos. This is one of my biggest goals in life, and if I won this guitar, I would be extremely thrilled.

Who wouldn't like to win a Fender strat,Recently I started Dan's AGS course and the difference this has made to my understanding of theory and playing skills is truly amazing.Dan hasn't kept the secret to himself he shares his knowledge & experience with you.The best comment i liked about Dan is he said it takes some hard work, this is true however the rewards are so huge after putting in the effort and by taking a small step at a time. My goal is to be able to play rythum and solo mixed,to do this I stick to theory to give me a better understanding of musical structure (AGS)and use Dans practical instructions to form my foundation which will give me what I love to be able to play in the future. Along with AGS & "Lead Guitar Secrets" which will be added to my education goals soon and to boot maybe a Black Fender Strat, I strongly believe this is the best step i have ever made in guitar playing. To all beginners and advanced guitarists get your self this course YOU WILL NEVER LOOK BACK ,Regards Joseph

There were asked two short, simple questions. WHY? and HOW?. They're definatly short, but sure as hell not simple. Actually its among the hardest questions in very many cases.
Why AM I excited about Lead Guitar Secrets?
OK, that one is rather easy; I wanna be kick-ass guitar-player! Give me whatver to work with, and I'll work on it. I'm far from a professional, but HEY, that's why I'm seeking advice with the "higher power". I think what Denley is doing is great, we need alot more guitarists like him. But I gotta admit, the layout on the webpage is sucky (sorry, just truth), but the content, and everything in it is extremly valuable to all of us guitarplaying geeks. Everything Denley has come up with are gold worth! (or at least most of it:)) SO THAT'S why I'm excited about Lead Guitar Secrets. It just GOTTA be good when it comes from this guy!
How do I BELIEVE Lead Guitar Secrets will improve my playing?
After personal experiences, I know that what I BELIEVE is mostly screwd up and things happens in a TOTALLY diffrent way. So I will just say "How I HOPE it will improve my skills". This post is already rather long, so I'll keep it simple:
I presume you all have heard about A-7-X(Avenged Sevenfold), My Chemical Romance and Carlos Santana? If there is ANYTHING out there in this wide world that can make me play (even CLOSE TO SIMILAR) to "A-7-X - Beast and the Harlot", "My Chemical Romanace - Dead!"(doubt I'll ever play that one) and about anything from Carlos Santana's mangeficent solos... then it's gotta be Lead Guitar Secrets. My dream is on the stage. Would be nice with a little push in the right direction, but I'll go that way no matter what.

I live in Argentina. I used to love playing guitar. But, until I see your web site... I just touch the strings. You show me, very easy, how to play solos just hearing progressions of chords. Now, 6 or 7 months later, I can play many solos, almos flowless, over my favourite songs!!!! I love it. And, of course, I can improvise using the scales you teach me. Thanks a lot!!!!!! That's why I think it will improve my playing skills. Thanks!!!!
