Here's Ben with his new Strat...
As I was going through all the material, I started to realize that each part could probably be a seperate course by itself. Which got me to thinking...
After the intial 1,000 copies are gone, I may decide to break this course into five individual courses. Which means the overall cost will go up (dramatically).
But, if you're one of the original 1000 owners, you'll get the whole kit-and-caboodle for one very reasonable price. More about that tomorrow...
Lastly, I thought I'd share another solo from the course. This one is called "Heavy D" because it's written in drop D tuning. It uses the D pentatonic minor scale.
Skills you'll learn from this solo:
I've also included the tab & the mp3s. Use track 98 to listen to the solo (with full-band). Use track 99 to learn the rhythm guitar. Then , try playing the solo over the jam track!
Step 1: Right-click here & choose, "Save Target As..." to download the tab (pdf)
Step 2: Right-click on the links below & choose, "Save Target As..." to download the audio (mp3)
Track 98 (with solo)
Track 99 (rhythm only)
Step 3: Check out the video!
Enjoy today's lesson and I'll talk to you tomorrow with the last minute details (and price).
Cheers!

P.S. There's still time to enter the Fender Strat contest. Just be sure your entry is in by midnight July 20.
You also get a the exact same recording without the solo track. That way, you can play solo and jam out with the band! And of course, I play all the solos for you on the DVDs (full speed and slowly) as well as give you all the tab.
Step 1: Right-click here & choose, "Save Target As.." to save the tab to your hard drive.
(Obviously, this is a pretty bad picture. I just tossed everything on my floor & took a quick snapshot.) As you can see, there are a total of 6 disks. From left-to-right you have: DVDs 1-4, the audio CD and the CD-ROM tutorial (far right). There will be 1,000 initial copies available. (I ordered twice as much as I did when I released Blues Guitar Secrets last year). There will be several time-sensitive bonuses for the first few people who order. And it won't be the usual crap that you can get free on the internet...
I haven't finished them just yet. But I'm almost certain that several of the bonuses will be videos that I create specifically for the release of the new course. So, if you're interested, you should probably sign up for priority notification.
P.P.S. There currently 200+ entries for the Fender Strat contest. If you have entered, and you'd like to do so, please make sure enter by July 20.
